Caught completely off guard

Hey Isabella,
I noticed someone mentioned Jesus and the Bible earlier in the thread. I get it—that doesn't exactly sound "edgy" or cool to you or your friend, and honestly, it didn't to me either. But seriously, God is the only reason I was saved from all that emptiness and suffering that comes with New Age stuff. If you look on YouTube, it’s absolutely flooded with people sharing their stories—people who got stuck in those New Age loops and ended up battling suicidal thoughts, depression, or all kinds of addictions. Just endless, wild stories.
I don't know about you, but maybe your friend is hitting that breaking point where they just can't do life anymore. Sometimes that sense of total meaninglessness creates this crushing anxiety that’s just too much to bear... I mean, why even bother hanging on if nothing makes sense?
For me, getting lost in New Age trends hit rock bottom. It forced me to actually face evil—to admit it exists because I could finally see it for what it was. Through all that darkness and my own complete breakdown, I finally just cried out. I admitted I couldn't do this alone and had no idea how to move forward, and in that exact moment, God stepped into my life. He filled this massive hole in my soul that I’d been trying to patch up my whole life using every New Age theory and practice under the sun—all of which just landed me in that same dark headspace your friend is in right now.
Just Google it. Look into it. Even if it's just out of curiosity, or even if you're looking for reasons to prove it wrong—just give it a fair shot.
