While the tension in the Paddock was brewing with the new deputies preparing to head toward Sep's ranch, darkmarlin16 was lying low, watching the scene unfold from a small church bell tower, waiting patiently for his moment.
The first hints of dawn were breaking over the prairie when an arrow hissed through the air. Catching Aleale square in the chest, rustycobra32 dropped his bow, pulled a tomahawk, and charged forward, shouting for the Apache to attack. Aleale fell onto his back, managing only one shaky shot before the tomahawk blade caught him across the face. Gfggfg and carnivor jolted awake and tried to react, but it was over fast. A bloody dawn broke over the plains.

Meanwhile, at the Apache camp, the fire flickered while drunken warriors sprawled across the floor. ruggedfox28 was tied to a post, watching Dmw swagger into the village with a helpless Nica slumped in his saddle. A little further off, stormybadger8 and mobberzgb>were bound tight and exhausted, struggling fruitlessly to break free.

- Haugh! – Dmw greeted his chief warmly.
- Haugh! – Megan Jones3 barked back, glancing at Nica, who had finally gone quiet.
- There, my honor and courage are restored. – Dmw muttered, tossing Nica into the dirt.
- Well spoken! – Megan Jones3 replied with satisfaction.
- That fat one is yours. – he said, pointing at ruggedfox28 while Dmw handed him a bottle of whiskey.
- And you're mine! – he yelled, grabbing Nica by the hair.

The girl's screams echoed across the prairie, waking even the most intoxicated warriors, as Megan Jones3 dragged her decisively toward his tent. MAXYM , who had started after Dmw , paused for a second to listen, then glanced at his horse and galloped wildly toward the camp.
