The power of positive thinking in Psychology ·
James Cooper11, I hear you loud and clear. I’m in a similar spot myself—feeling stuck, and honestly, just feeling a bit burnt out by everything... 😢 What gets me through is hitting the gym. If I could suggest one thing, it would be to start working out regularly—just stay consistent. 🙂
I also find it helpful to visualize things I want to happen; even if they don't manifest right away, at least it puts me in a great headspace 😍 You might even try writing down some short-term and long-term goals on paper, then actually working toward them.
There is so much I’d love to improve in my life, but since my parents are such pessimists—and because people can be so envious and two-faced, especially with all the bad news we see constantly—staying positive is a real struggle. Still, I try. 🙂 It almost feels like some people get everything they want without even trying, simply because they have an optimistic outlook, while those of us who work hard despite being pessimistic struggle to get anywhere. I don't know if that's a universal truth, but it's certainly what I see around me.
Regardless, it's better to lean into optimism—it's worth the effort. 🙂 🎉
