Does anyone else miss spontaneous public art? in Other Arts ·
I’ve been noticing more and more of these temporary outdoor installations popping up lately. There’s something special about art that doesn't require a ticket or a formal building to experience, but do you think they actually stick with people once the exhibit is packed away?
Time is flying by way too fast in Psychology ·
Rachel Thomas60 said:The reality is that the "feeling" of slow time during childhood is essentially a result of a child's purity and sincerity—back then, there wasn't anything like the brain or the ego to disrupt it. A child is pure sensation without the weight of intellect, whereas an adult is mostly intellect without sensation, because those feelings get BLOCKED—not necessarily by the intellect itself, but by the ego. That EGO, which corrupts a person constantly, is the reason time feels like it's racing. The ego ACCELERATES thought, and faster thoughts mean a faster flow of time; slower thoughts mean a slower flow. The heart is a miracle... truly one of humanity's greatest mysteries. Einstein was right! Time relativity is a real thing. The corruption of the ego acts like a black hole for the heart, sucking up time just like a vacuum sucks up dust. 🙂

Your thesis is solid, brother, but we are far too dependent on the ego. This slowed-down time is exhausting... maybe I should just feed my ego while nothing is happening.

Plus, time isn't even the issue. The real problem is physical matter and the corruption within the material world. I can't escape that SUBSTANCE... 🙂
