Routine is the ultimate thief of time because you don't even realize it's happening. The days just bleed together into one indistinguishable blur, making it feel like you've been stuck in the exact same loop for weeks on end. When you're a kid, everything is a revelation. You're constantly absorbing new information. Every little thing carries that "wow" factor, making every moment stick.
If you actually want to slow down the clock, you have to seek out experiences that actually move the needle—things that trigger that sense of awe. You need variety. New places, different faces, fresh perspectives... It’s easy to preach, but much harder to execute when your daily grind is set in stone.
