Hey everyone, does anyone happen to know a good live band for backup? I’m looking for a specific lineup—something with an accordion, guitar, sax, and a cajon...

The thing is, our usual go-to groups—you know, the ones we usually rely on for everything from weddings to parties—are all booked up. We haven't reached out to Millennium yet, though...

Thanks in advance

I don't even know where to begin with this one... It’s just one of those situations that makes you want to sit back and watch the whole thing unfold from a distance while sipping a drink... You look at how things are being handled by the Republican Party lately, and it honestly feels like we're watching a slow-motion train wreck in real time... Everyone seems to think they have a handle on the direction the country is heading, but if you actually pay attention to the moves being made by the Administration, it becomes pretty clear that nobody really knows what they're doing... It's almost impressive, in a dark sort of way, how they manage to navigate through these crises without ever actually solving anything... It just keeps circling back to the same old patterns, the same predictable power plays from people who seem more interested in their own standing than anything else... I guess we'll just see where this goes...

Honestly, it feels like the DP is just sweeping every single Republican crony right off the stage whenever a debate starts...
Take a look at that clash between the comparable US politician and the comparable US politician in yesterday's edition of the Wall Street Journal...
It’s just like how they set up those lakes over by Martha's Vineyard. Honestly, I’d feel like absolute garbage if they tried to lock me down in my own city because of some virus...
They’re full of it, honestly. They’ll probably drag their feet and keep everything in this weird limbo until autumn, though the official word is that we might see borders opening up by early June. We really need to save the season, since it's basically the backbone of our entire economy... they aren't going to let the whole thing collapse just because of some little virus.
I’m thinking about packing up and moving out to San Diego to be with my fiancée until all this chaos settles down, but I’m stuck on what to actually put on my application for a permit so it doesn't get flagged... I don't have any family down there, just my fiancée living by herself in her apartment.
This isn't exactly on-topic for this thread, I know, but does anyone actually know what the drill is when it comes to heading to the ER?
My aunt has been dealing with these absolutely unbearable pains in her leg for two days now, but she keeps repeating this whole mantra about how you can't just show up at the emergency room whenever you feel like it... Honestly, I'm halfway tempted to just shove her in the car and drive us straight to the hospital.
We live in the same city, and neither of us is showing any COVID symptoms or anything like that. Can I just pull up with her without calling ahead or following some specific protocol, or is there more to it?
Thanks
