Drew Rogers6 said:I managed to get two IDs through, but honestly, it drives me absolutely INSANE that you have to manually click into every single line with your mouse because hitting "Enter" won't even move you to the next line. It's ridiculous.🙂

If there's anyone with actual authority reading this, 🙂 fix this bug already!

Just use the TAB key to move to the next line.
Right above the Shift key.🙂

Jessica Grant56 said:I told Richard Howard55 exactly what I was thinking... that he’s basically led her out onto thin ice here, and honestly, it just ends up hurting everyone involved. Besides, we all know from experience—you can't prove anything to someone who refuses to see the truth anyway. Even though he hasn't acted this way in years, there's a reason for it: look at him now, making such a huge scene, overshadowing everyone else just to find some scapegoat we can all point the finger at... We've seen this exact same pattern play out so many times before!

You're mistaken; he walked straight into a trap, and his posts are getting more frantic by the minute.
Don't let Richard Howard55's calm tone fool you; right now, he's dangling a carrot, but believe me, he's holding a stick behind his back. Honestly? It’s more likely that Richard Howard55 will just end up being an idiot, leaving him with nothing to do but bang his head against a wall. 😁
The best move is to step back and let him handle this himself—slowly and systematically—without us interfering.
I've already done my part; she'll finish him off. 😁
At the end of the day, whether we actually prove anything to him is irrelevant. What matters is that potential customers know exactly what they're getting when they invest in Techno or Synapse.

The IRS is reporting that they can't run on Java 1.7, yet they're also aware that the systems used for tax filings won't function on 1.6. They’re working on a fix right now, supposedly trying to find a way to make everything compatible with Java 1.7 so the IRS systems finally play nice together. I actually reached out to ask them what we're supposed to do in the meantime—because constantly uninstalling and reinstalling different versions of Java just to satisfy specific modules is becoming a massive headache—and their answer was basically, "there's no other way." They mentioned that some people are managing by using one computer running Java 1.6 for certain tasks and a second computer running Java 1.7 for others. I told them that sounds pretty ridiculous for those of us who only have a single workstation. They claim everyone is aware of the situation and they're working on a solution. For now, my only workaround is to download Java 1.6 whenever I need to use Regos, and then wipe it out to install 1.7 whenever I have to jump onto the IRS site. It's a tedious cycle, but until they get their act together and sync the versions, that's exactly what they told me I'd have to do.
Based on exactly what you described, I run into that specific form in those exact spots. It keeps asking me for a signature, but then the moment I actually try to sign it, I get an error message. That’s the word from the folks over at the IRS.

I have Java 1.7 installed and everything is running perfectly—both the IRS filings and the general tax modules are working fine.

Have you even attempted to install the Microsoft Agent ver. 6.2 yet?

Since there was no source text provided to rewrite, I cannot generate the transformed content. Please provide the original text you would like me to re-craft according to your specific instructions. kaže:
That is exactly how I interpreted the text! If the various applications used to verify certificates aren't fully compatible with one another, you can end up stuck staring at a spinning loading icon for eternity. Does anyone actually test for these kinds of conflicts before release? It’s a total disaster waiting to happen. 😵
The officer from the Police Department provided an explanation regarding what might be causing those little squares to spin. Is it even possible that we are dealing with such a technical glitch? Or is there something more fundamental at play here? He laid out his reasoning, attempting to pinpoint the exact source of the rotation. It’s all quite speculative, isn't it? One has to wonder if these theories actually hold any water when you look at the mechanics of the situation.

Just install ActivClient Agent version 6.2 and everything will work perfectly. Why bother overcomplicating things? Just get the right version installed and the problem solves itself.

When you mentioned scanned documents earlier, I assumed we were talking about those non-standard files we upload through the web portal that need to be in PDF format.

Regarding the specific clerk mentioned by BlindDog in post 465🙂

Jack Young said:Come on, please tell me you aren't seriously suggesting that a handwritten signature scanned into a PDF is somehow more legit than a digital signature... I don't think I've ever heard anything like that before.

That isn't my point. This isn't about which method is more "authentic"—it's about catering to the whims of the bureaucrats.
To me, those officials are practically deities. If I just give them exactly what they want, maybe they'll leave me alone and stop giving me such a massive headache.😁

Brenda Chase3 said:Regarding the GFI-POD for FINA, I sent over all those notes, decisions, and other files through my FINA card last year, and they didn't need separate signatures. Once you have authorization, the system treats it as if everything is already signed. It's just like when you submit an RS-m; you're effectively signing off on whatever you send every single time. So, there's no need to go through the extra step of signing individual attachments. Just convert them to PDF and click-click. 🙂 That covers everything regarding FINA and GFI.
As for the IRS... I suspect they won't require it either, though I won't say for certain since this is a relatively new process for them. It seems logical that it shouldn't be necessary. All of my attachments went through the IRS portal without any issues, and nothing was ever flagged or held up because an attachment lacked a specific signature. But we'll just have to wait and see how things play out with the IRS.

The public filing fee is waived for users who submit GFI for public record via E-Fine. Basically, if you're an accounting firm and you have authorization for multiple clients, none of them have to pay anything because you're utilizing E-Fine. The only ones stuck paying are the people physically carrying data to FINA on a CD or a thumb drive.

Your filing wasn't rejected because the IRS doesn't actually have the capacity to verify whether every single document has been manually signed or stamped.
I suspect this is just down to the personal whims of individual agents when files are sent to the archives. For some, it doesn't matter at all, whereas others insist on having every scrap of paper signed and stamped.
Personally, I am going to send mine without signatures or stamps to save myself the time of scanning everything. If anyone actually demands it, I'll just send the client's paperwork later. 😁
I agree with you—the signature and stamp are completely redundant.

But let’s be honest: it’s actually more functional now. Stop whining, you'll get used to it. 🙂

Brenda Chase3 said:Is anyone else having trouble accessing the RNC cards for all their clients? I’m specifically asking about those of us who hold authorizations for multiple parties. For me, it’s working for about half of them, but for the other half, I just get an error message telling me to try again. I actually reached out to the IRS via email, and their initial response was that they hadn't rolled out full access permissions to everyone yet due to the sheer volume of data being processed—which seemed like a reasonable excuse on day one. But it’s now the sixth day. They haven't even replied to my follow-up email from two days ago, and since you can't get anyone on the phone, I've been aggressively resubmitting my inquiries. Is anyone else running into this same wall?

It didn't work for a few of my clients on the first day, but by the second day, it was working fine.
I haven't checked every single one of them yet, but I'm hoping they're all functional now. 😁

Raymond Martinez10 said:The internal documentation and account adjustments were supposed to be finalized by January 1st—period. After that, you're left dealing with the mandatory receipt fiscalization for cash transactions (submitting those cash receipts to the IRS and picking up your JIRA), which depends entirely on which category you fall under—either April 1st or July 1st.

I’ve been briefed quite differently on this matter.😁

The account adjustment begins specifically on the date the fiscalization requirement kicks in. If you decide to make those adjustments earlier than required, you’ll be forced to restart your numbering sequence at 1 from the actual date of fiscalization.
The only thing everyone is strictly obligated to handle starting January 1st is the decision regarding the maximum allowable cash limit.
