So, how do I grab the sums from cells I6, J6, and K6 on Sheet1 and move them over to Sheet2—but only every fourth value?
I tried applying the exact same formula—no luck. It's just not working.
So, here's the deal—I need to grab the sum from cells I6, J6, and K6 on Sheet1 and dump that total into cell E4 on Sheet2. Then, I need to repeat the process, but this time summing up every fourth cell starting from I10, J10, and K10 on Sheet1 and moving that result into E5 on Sheet2, and so on. Basically, I'm looking to automate this pattern.

Code:
=Sheet1!AA6
Then, in the cell right below it—A2—drop this one in:
Code:
=OFFSET(Sheet1!$AA$6;ROW(AB1)*4;0)
Just drag that down as far as you need to go.
That’ll grab every fourth cell from column AA on Sheet1, starting from the sixth row.
Kyle, you're a lifesaver...😍
Hey,
I tried boiling this down, but I'm getting nowhere... I need to pull specific values from one sheet over to another, but there's a catch—I have to grab every fourth cell.
I honestly have no clue how to pull this off.
Basically, I need to move data from Sheet 1 to Sheet 2 by grabbing cells AA6, AA10, AA14, and so on—just skipping by fours. I really don't want to spend my life manually copying and pasting every single one, so how do I set up a formula to just do the heavy lifting for me?

Nope, that sale is taxable because you're billing a private individual. You can't just dump it under exempt transactions.
That person is your end consumer, so you have to charge them our standard sales tax.
🙂
We’re running a construction job at a site here in the States—standard stuff, we’re claiming the sales tax on materials from our incoming invoices. We report everything to the client, who happens to be an individual, isn't a resident of the US, and is currently based in Canada. I noticed there’s a specific line on the tax forms for services provided to entities without a domestic seat (those VAT-exempt transactions). Does that actually apply to my situation?
Anyone know if I'm going to get hit with a fine if I turn in my sales tax forms on paper for the eleventh month in a row?
As soon as I read that the IRS is making electronic filing mandatory, I bolted straight to Chase to apply for a digital signature card—only to have the teller tell me everyone is out on vacation and she has no clue when mine will actually arrive. Great. And since I’m heading out on vacation this Monday, I really need to get these filed before the week is up.
