I'm asking because the "Convert to XML" button on the actual form isn't doing anything for me at all. It’s just sitting there, unresponsive. Is it just my luck, or is anyone else running into this?

How do I get actual confirmation that my tax form from June 2013 was fully processed?
The status updates just say "form received and being processed," but apparently, that isn't enough for the Social Security Administration...

When you renew, certain data points change, and if they haven't updated their records, the system gets stuck on your old info. This happened to me back in November—I didn't realize I had to notify them, so I just kept hitting a wall. Once I reached out and they updated my file, everything worked perfectly the very next day.
If that isn't the issue, your best bet is to just give them a call at the number I mentioned earlier.

That’s how I interpreted the rule, anyway—not that I'm exactly an expert on this... 😵 ...so I'm really hoping someone else jumps in here.
