Look, would someone be a total lifesaver and just drop some links here? I'm hunting for a 10m cable, an internal PC adapter, and whatever other connectors I might need to make this whole thing actually work. If there's anything in stock at a local Best Buy or maybe a Home Depot nearby, let me know.😍

Anyway, if you manage to get it close enough to working, it might actually serve its purpose—provided you've got a clear line of sight and we're talking maybe a 500-meter range max. If there's anything in the way, forget about it.
Might as well give it a shot since it's cheap. Those antennas aren't even hard to find around here in Canada; you can probably pick some up for maybe $5 or $7 if you look in the right places.
Well, I'm going to try making it. Since my mobile data is being painfully slow right now, would anyone mind dropping some links for all the parts I'll need, specifically if I need to pick up a 10m cable?

Of course, when the weather turns nasty—you know, heavy rain or snowstorms—things might stutter a bit, though it’s not a guarantee. But honestly, that antenna setup mentioned in this post? That’s pretty much the gold standard for keeping things smooth.
So, would it have been better to just build a snack bar instead?🤷

So, how much better is this specific antenna compared to the other one, and honestly, how does someone even go about building a satellite dish, and would that actually let me easily tap into any Wi-Fi network out there?
So, I borrowed this antenna from a buddy of mine, specifically this one http://www.miniinthebox.com/high-gai...liate_webgains and I’m testing it out to see if I can pull a signal from about 500 meters away with a totally clear line of sight—no trees, no buildings, nothing in the way. But here’s the thing: the connection is just so hit or miss, you know? Sometimes it works, sometimes it’s dead, and when it actually shows up, I’m barely hitting 30% max signal strength. It makes me wonder, is there actually a better antenna out there that won't break the bank, and what kind of performance am I realistically looking at if I upgrade? Like, would I actually be able to stream movies or play games without everything lagging out? Right now, my internet speed on the device itself is sitting at 10 Mbps, so if I managed to get a much stronger signal, how much of a boost would I actually see in my speeds?
