Car Insurance: What are your experiences? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·

I've been hunting for some liability and collision quotes for my car, and man, the price swings are wild. I really need to dig into the fine print too, because it doesn't make much sense when the collision coverage jumps by as much as $667... gotta figure out if those cheaper options are actually worth it or if they're just cutting corners on the coverage.

I'm curious to hear from anyone who's signed a policy in the last month or so. Rates seem to be shifting every single week, so anything from a few weeks ago might look totally different from what we're seeing now. Here’s what I’m looking at right now:

GEICO
liability-$487
collision-$1433
Allianz
liability-$507
collision-$1867
State Farm
liability-$400
collision-$1333
Progressive
liability-$450
collision-$1233
Atlantic
liability-$600
collision-$1167

What was the sticker price on the new car?

For me, Everest was the cheapest two weeks ago.

3. yeah you can, and you don't need a manager, but I don't know how you plan on running a shop in a different city? (if it's nearby maybe it's fine, but if not you might need someone you really trust)

Thanks for getting back to me.
Point 3 would only really matter if there was a legal requirement for the owner or manager to have a specific business degree. In that scenario, I was considering bringing on a co-owner from out of state who holds those credentials, so I was wondering if that's even an option.
Since a business degree isn't a prerequisite, there's no real need to bring in a partner from another state.
Best regards.
Starting an LLC: Where to begin? in Business, Accounting & Taxes ·
Hello,
I am looking into launching a children's toy and gear boutique (LLC), and I have a few questions.

1. Regarding staffing for the shop: am I required to hire someone with a background in business or retail studies, or can I just hire anyone? As for myself, I graduated from a technical high school and hold a degree in a related field—so, certainly nothing in commerce.
2. If a business degree is mandatory for staff, could I simply complete a retail certification course instead? How long does that typically take, what is the cost, and does anyone have a link?
3. Is it possible to register an LLC in a state different from where the owner resides? And if I do that, would I be obligated to hire a dedicated bookkeeper or some sort of administrative assistant?

Thanks in advance.
