Checking on my checking account in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
So I've already got a checking account over at Chase, but now I need to set up a savings account... Do I actually have to go through the whole hassle of opening a new one from scratch, or does it just happen automatically under the same account number? And if I do have to deal with it, what's the damage for the setup fee...? Thanks in advance

And seriously—stop trolling.

Alright, thanks for the tip—I guess I’m one step closer to becoming just like you now...

So now you're gonna tell me how someone's even supposed to unlearn those fucked up ideas about relationships... if they've already taken root...

Yeah, right. Like there aren't like 90 percent of people just trying to get through downtown without being bothered. As if everyone actually has eyes on her...😕

I honestly think we need to take a much closer look at how these systems actually function under the hood—it’s easy to get caught up in the surface-level hype, but if you really dig into the mechanics, there's a lot more complexity than people realize. I've been sitting with this idea for a while now, and the more I reflect on it, the more convinced I am that we're missing the bigger picture by focusing on the obvious stuff. It isn't just about the immediate results, either; it's about the long-term implications of how these structures are built from the ground up. I know some might disagree, but from where I'm standing, the logic seems pretty airtight once you strip away the noise. kaže:
So, I was doing a bit of digging online the other day—just falling down one of those classic rabbit holes—and I stumbled upon this really fascinating theory.

So, I was reading this post from someone describing what they call "ideas of reference"—basically that feeling where you think everything you hear or see is somehow directly tied to your own identity, like there’s some deep, hidden meaning being sent specifically to you. It sounds like a textbook description of a schizoid personality type experiencing those kinds of distortions. It's that intense sensation that the world isn't just happening around you, but is actually reacting to you or speaking about you in some coded way.😁

I honestly have to wonder—is there anyone out there who actually reads a news story or watches a segment on TV without immediately connecting it back to their own life? I mean, really think about it. If you aren't filtering information through the lens of your own experiences or comparing it to someone you know, how are you even supposed to process it? Without that personal baseline, how do you find any context for what you're seeing?😁

So, I was just sitting here checking the weather forecast—it looks like rain is definitely headed our way—and naturally, my mind started racing. Once those clouds start rolling in, I can't help but overthink everything. I find myself already mentally mapping out what tomorrow is actually going to look like, and more importantly, what the backup plan is if I get stuck indoors and can't get out to do anything.

Is that really it, or am I just totally misreading the situation? Are we all just a little bit schizo?😁

There’s a massive difference between looking at a weather forecast and actually thinking it relates to you personally—like, you check the app just to decide if you need to grab an umbrella before heading out—and falling into that weird headspace where you believe your own thoughts can actually summon a storm, or that lightning strikes are some kind of cosmic punishment because you skipped washing your hands before dinner. One is just practical planning, while the other is something much more intense.
The whole concept of "relationships" is honestly just a wild, manufactured idea—but seeing things through your own lens? That’s perfectly normal. It’s not some kind of pathology; it’s just how reality works.

Hold up, wait a second... that doesn't quite track for me. I mean, my grandma, for instance, thanks God for every little thing she does because she genuinely believes that’s how things are meant to be...,,,,,

Another example... you can definitely summon stuff with your thoughts too... look at that whole "The Secret" craze with the books and movies... you're supposed to manifest everything with your mind... so if I get hit by a car one day, am I supposed to say I thought it into existence?...

See... we really are all a little bit schizophrenic... We connect dots and analyze things based on whatever makes us feel better. I blame one thing, you blame another...🙂)) We just link everything together however it suits us. That's my take on it...🙂)

My point is just that when you start reading up on those mental health symptoms, it feels like half the population fits the description (and I'm not even talking about schizophrenia)... I mean, who hasn't felt a bit of anxiety, or a rush of adrenaline, or a headache, or just general unease, and then started overthinking their behavior... like, "did I do this wrong?"... so what, is a "healthy" person someone who never feels any of that? Go ahead, find me one person like that...😁😁

So I’m doing a little deep dive online and stumbled onto this wild theory.

Some psychoanalyst was talking about "ideas of reference"—basically when someone feels like everything they hear or see is somehow tied back to them personally, like there's this hidden meaning meant just for them...😁

But honestly, it makes me wonder—is there anyone out there who *doesn't* connect what they read or see on the news back to their own life? If I'm not comparing information to my own experiences or the people around me, what am I even supposed to do with it?😁

Like, I'll be watching the weather report, see that rain is coming, and naturally, I start thinking about how it’s gonna mess up my plans or what I'll end up doing if I can't get out...

Is that actually what they mean, or am I totally misreading this? Are we all just a little bit schizoid at heart?😁
The media always acts like they're some reflection of the public, but let's be real—they aren't. I couldn't care less what the local weather report says, yet they spend all day trying to convince us that we should be obsessed with it. The real issue is that these outlets just make constant assumptions, and honestly, they’re never actually worthy of the causes they claim to represent.

I can't even wrap my head around working for a newspaper... imagine having an actual opinion but being forced to write the complete opposite every single day. I’d rather be unemployed. But hey, that's journalism for you. It's common knowledge that news people have this "hyena mentality"—just circling the weakest targets and celebrating when someone else hits rock bottom... it's gross. The biggest problem, though, is how they intentionally stir up division and create rifts... if they were doing it by accident, they wouldn't bother. Things could get a whole lot worse, too... if you want my realistic take.

But that’s just how it goes.

The best thing you can do is just give it a dry smile and move on. 😁

My natural state? Honestly, I just head downtown for a quick stroll and grab a coffee. Or, if I really need to decompress, I’ll retreat to the bathroom and soak in some hot
water. It does wonders for the nerves! 🙂

Man, you’ve got a long road ahead if that’s your idea of "natural"...

Honestly, my default setting is just pure confidence—that feeling that I’m always a few steps ahead of everyone else. I tend to gravitate toward people with massive energy, huge egos, and strong opinions on everything... mostly because they’re actually worth debating. It’s the only way to get a decent challenge. But if someone can’t even sort out their own internal mess? Yeah, they throw me off my game instantly. I steer clear of those types—they're basically walking contagions...
