I have to say, I really started feeling the effects of Cipralex after about six weeks. It feels like my anxiety is trying to break through, but something is holding it back (which I attribute to the Cipralex). I’m still dealing with some mild nervousness and slightly sweaty palms, but that’s nothing compared to the constant daily dread that caused me to lose 26 pounds in just two months because I completely lost my appetite.
However, the other major factor in my improvement was finally getting the right diagnosis. In my case, I figured it out myself after a long, exhausting search: Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, though without the obvious compulsions.🙂

So, I am satisfied with Cipralex. It’s giving me the strength to tackle my uphill battles with OCD through cognitive behavioral therapy, especially since my ultimate goal is to eventually taper off the medication.

see... proof there are people out there

Nah, people just say "I'm feeling the pressure."

I’m really trying to lose some weight, but I have zero interest in becoming dependent on these pills
The addiction factor seems to kick in so fast—has anyone here actually dealt with this personally? I'd love to hear some real-world experiences.

No experience here, and honestly, nothing's a sure thing.
Just ask your doctor.

Robert Richardson28 said:Hi there. So, I’ve been on an antidepressant (FLUOXETINE 20mg) for about a month and a half now, taking one pill every day, and I’m looking to stop. Every resource I come across says you shouldn't just quit cold turkey. What does "abruptly" actually mean in this context? Basically, what is the right way to taper off?
Thanks. 😁

dude, just ask your doctor.

it’s all just awareness, genetics, and chemistry..
logic doesn't really run the show.
it's just whatever's hardwired into your DNA.
forget about wasting your money on that, you'll probably be divorced before the year's even up anyway
