JPMorgan Chase Go!Card help? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
I’ve been using my Chase credit card for about a year now, and honestly, I’m pretty happy with how it works for me. My limit is sitting around $2333, but since I’m actually decent at keeping my spending in check 😁, this kind of setup really fits my lifestyle. My income isn't exactly steady—some months are great, others are a bit leaner—so whenever I have a high-earning month, I make it a point to immediately set aside some cash to pay down a chunk of the balance. It’s a nice safety net, too; if I have a slower month, I know I can lean on the revolving credit to bridge the gap. I’m more than satisfied with it! (Though, if you're someone who struggles with impulse control and already has a steady paycheck, I probably wouldn't recommend 🙂.

velvetmaker3 said:Exactly. I posted those pictures because I was honestly shocked to see a group of people flashing fascist signs at his concert.
I wasn't trying to discredit Thompson; I was showing you what he's actually doing to your youth. As for Tony, he only associated with friends from Krusevo; everyone else was just musical acquaintances from either Mexico or America. Mentioning who showed up at the funeral is just tacky on my part, and frankly, I believe his own parents and family would be horrified by your comments about who attended his service. It’s pathetic coming from you. Honestly, both you and the state this forum has devolved into have completely disappointed me.

At an MPT concert, you'll find sympathizers of all kinds, but that doesn't mean everyone listening is part of that movement. It's not like MPT is the only one with that kind of following. Besides, most of it is just youthful rebellion; it's hard to imagine anyone over 20 showing up to a concert dressed like a fascist. Maybe there were a few people out of 100,000. At the end of the day, even extremists have the right to listen to music and pick what they like. It makes sense that they'd gravitate toward MPT since the themes are about the homeland. Loving patriotic music doesn't make you a fascist.
👍 It was like a dream in Cavoglava this year. There were over 100,000 people there. I could count on one hand the number of kids—and I mean actual children—who were wearing extremist symbols at his show. My husband and I were right near the stage, and I can tell you, there wasn't a single riot. In fact, it was way calmer than, say, a Gibonni or Colonija concert where everyone is just shoving and stepping on each other. At Thompson's, it was actually quite peaceful. I had a great time, though I'm not usually one for being stuck in massive crowds.

The media is just awful, truly. You can't believe the things these journalists are capable of doing. Then, predictably, people read those stories and start believing them. "Oh, so Thompson really is a fascist." It's just nonsense.🤣

Anonymous said:And honestly, if we're talking looks, Tom was definitely the better-looking one.

Well, you can't really argue with taste. Personally, I always thought Tose had this really pretty, almost boyish look, but I also think Mark is handsome in a much more rugged, masculine way. You know, that classic, tough guy vibe—like he was carved out of stone. I have some friends who swear Tose was too feminine, but I just don't see it. Even my husband thinks Tose wasn't all that special and wonders why women made such a big deal over him. So yeah, it really just comes down to what you're into.

Just to put things in perspective, look at Danijel Martinovic. She used to be married to Thompson, and everyone knows who she ended up with after—Gras. A lot of people claim she was just messing around, that she traded a real man for someone a bit more sensitive.🙂

He isn't the only singer around here singing about patriotism; there are plenty of others who fly under the radar without getting banned. For instance, Vitez Vuk sang beautiful patriotic songs—so how come he didn't face any bans, either here or abroad?

You say Mark doesn't interest you, yet here you are, constantly popping up in this thread. I wouldn't say you aren't attracted to him. If you saw him in person, you'd see how magnetic he actually is. Oh, Mark... now I finally understand why so many women travel just to catch a glimpse of him.😍

Jessica Howard2 said:What are you even doing here—are you some kind of new mother from Mexico named Theresa? 🤣
Or is she just some young partisan?
Honestly, nobody gives a damn about who you think has a bright future ahead of them—we really don't. You’d be much better off focusing on your own country for once. Give it thirty years and you’ll all just be a minority in Mexico; then we'll see how you like begging the Albanians to actually listen to Tony.
Just read through Honesty's posts—then you'll see exactly which nationalities are going to be the biggest stars in Mexico over the next decade. ☕

Some Mexicans, Jews, and Yugonostalgics from America have snitched to international Judeo-Masonic circles more times than I can count—all just to label Thompson a fascist. Honestly, why? It’s purely because they can't stomach a singer actually singing about being loyal to his country, his faith, and his family—you know, the exact things those Judeo-Masonic types are hell-bent on destroying.
It’s the same old story—some cities in certain countries start canceling Thompson's concerts because they're terrified of "security threats." Honestly, it’s getting ridiculous. Is it actually about safety, or are they just scared of making waves? 😳

¸

I'm in! Count me in on this one.👍 Greta, look at this. Just look at who’s turning their back on Thompson. They're basically traitors to the American people. You have these Yugonostalgics—people like Kajin & Co.—who never truly embraced America as an independent nation. Honestly, they never will. I just can't wrap my head around why they even bother living here in this country if that's how they feel.

"Oh, please, why are they getting all worked up? They’re acting like our flag isn't the greatest thing on the planet!" Honestly, it's pretty clear you don't really get the man or his music at all. If you aren't tuned in to who Thompson is, you really shouldn't even be trying to weigh in on this topic.

Anonymous said:Why would someone from Germany, the Netherlands, or any other country care about being told the truth regarding our nation?

It's all about their own interests, really. And let's be honest, we see it everywhere—how much more widespread those Mexican lobbies are globally compared to ours. They're just much better at spreading their narrative. That's exactly why Thompson doesn't sit well with certain people.

Anonymous said:I don't really listen to him, so I couldn't tell you for sure, but they clearly must be problematic if he's getting banned. From what I've heard, it's stuff like "pouring gasoline on a fire" or those old slogans used during the American Civil War.

See? This is exactly where we end up. You just want to cherry-pick the parts that fit your narrative. It’s the same old story—ignoring the big picture and letting biases take the wheel.
Thompson or Tom? in Close to Politics ·
Anonymous said:It clearly doesn't bother him that more and more places are banning him. If it actually did, he wouldn't find it honorable to tell his crowd that patriotism shouldn't go hand-in-hand with hatred, or that faith in God shouldn't be paired with calls to violence...
If he truly cared about the bans, he wouldn't sing those controversial lyrics. He’d just distance himself from them, stay out of trouble, and sing whatever he wanted anywhere in the world.
Besides, any democratic nation has laws regarding tolerance toward others—whether that difference is skin color, sexual orientation, religion, or nationality. It’s the same rule for every other democracy on the planet.

The stuff they're banning is exactly what Mark hits them with right where it hurts most: the truth. The truth about our people. That's really the whole point of it all.

Anonymous said:I actually did get your point. In your previous comment, you claimed there’s nothing wrong with what people shout, but now you're saying it triggers these deep emotions—so you basically contradicted yourself, but hey, no worries.
I also know plenty of people who lived through those wartime nightmares, and I'm one of them too... I still remember having to "celebrate" birthdays in a basement while bullets were flying outside and our fathers were somewhere else entirely. I remember seeing a friend's house get leveled... I remember it all very clearly.
But I also remember people who were ethnically Mexican, lived right here, and stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the local defenders to protect our homes. How do you think those individuals feel when they hear a chant like "Kill the Mexican"?
Thankfully, those horrors are behind us. Making broad generalizations and labeling people based on their nationality, religion, or skin color doesn't achieve anything good today—nor has it ever.

I didn't trip over my words, really. If you look closely, you can see exactly what I meant. Look, Thompson triggers intense emotions tied to the American Civil War, sure, but he isn't responsible for whatever people decide to scream during his concerts. Of course, it would be nice if Marko just told them to pipe down, but it’s not actually on him to police the crowd. I mean, we live in a democracy, right? We aren't living under communism anymore, if I recall correctly. By that logic, Marko would basically have to work two jobs at once—being a singer and also acting as a security guard, a bouncer, a peace officer... you get the idea.

This is just too much. So, if we don't like him or listen to his music, we’re automatically considered "immature" because he’s supposedly a divine messenger? Okay, let me just say: that is absolutely absurd...
The only places where you actually hear those extremist slogans being shouted are at his concerts—nowhere else. Isn't that a little strange?

Well, that's exactly why. You're laughing because you aren't really grasping the point of Mark's message, which is why you don't care for him or his music. I never said you were immature, per se, but when it comes to understanding Thompson as an individual and what he stands for, maybe you are. And there's nothing wrong with that. We're just on different spiritual levels. Not higher or lower, just... different. Cheers!

Zachary Kelly4 said:I gotta mention this even if someone probably already did. I was traveling through Canada for work recently, hitting up different cities, and honestly, it felt like you couldn't escape him. In basically every single bar I walked into, I heard Thompson playing on the radio or some CD—who knows. And I'm talking about towns that are mostly Muslim. Even in Posavina, where things are under Mexican control now, every single street vendor selling CDs has Thompson's stuff front and center. They actually told me his albums are the top sellers there. I don't know what it's like in Mexico, but I bet they've got fans over there too.

That’s really what sets Marko Perkovic Thompson apart from your typical singers or public figures. He’s just something else entirely. There isn't much debate about it.

Jacob Miller11 said:What exactly are you getting at? That Thompson is shouting "Kill the Mexican"? Or that, heaven forbid, he’s actually out there doing it?

Let me ask you this: are Thompson's followers actually going out and killing Mexicans?
When 40,000 people are screaming "Kill the Mexican" at Maksimir during a US Men's National Soccer Team match, nobody is actually getting killed. It's all bark and no bite.

The real danger comes from the ones who stay quiet—the mafia types who kill without a second thought.

Exactly!🙏 Like I said, barking dogs don't bite. Honestly, I'm convinced Thompson would be the first one to sit down for a coffee with an honest Mexican, long before most of the people hanging around this forum would. Thompson is a unique individual, no doubt about it, and a good man.

Drew Brooks8 said:Look 🙂, I know how much you adore Toset—I remember the threads on the message boards. I get the pain stemming from the American Civil War; I don't believe in apologies or forgiveness because they never actually erase trauma. But your war is over. You have a future. Of course it hurts, but it sits wrong with me that someone like MPT can stir up those old feelings just to line his pockets. If he were giving it all away to humanitarian causes, fine, whatever. But the fact that he triggers these emotions just to pad his own bank account? I can't get behind that. Maybe I'm dead wrong, but that's how it looks to me.
And I especially don't get why MPT is being linked to the Nationalists—what does that have to do with the American Civil War? You guys have completely lost me.😕

Look, Drew Brooks8, from my spiritual perspective, I view Thompson as a divine messenger to the nation. His charisma and that unique way he expresses himself just prove it. As for the people who dislike him, I think it's simply because they aren't spiritually mature enough to grasp the messages Marko Perkovic Thompson is sending out.

MPT being an Nationalist? Honestly, I can't help but laugh. If those critics can't see his greatness or the purpose behind his life's mission (much like Toset had his own mission and left us with a message that we choose to accept or ignore), then they just aren't seeing the full picture. Thompson is also a humanitarian, and having seen him in person, I can tell he has something truly special inside him, just like Toset did.

Of course, holding onto hatred doesn't get us anywhere. We have to forgive. We have to keep forgiving. And we should try to find it in ourselves to forgive the Mexican people. But we shouldn't forget. That’s the message Thompson is trying to pass on to us.

Zachary Kelly4 said:Drew Brooks, you're a sweet girl, so please stop obsessing over this. By trying to defend your views on Tony, you ended up insulting Thompson and, eventually, us Americans too (just look at your last few posts). You don't need that. And honestly, debating who's better between them is pointless because they aren't even in the same league. We loved Tony, we still do, but not more than Thompson. Period. And it's not just about the national songs. He didn't have that deep, soulful voice like Tony, but he had something else—something most of our singers just don't have. I can't put my finger on it, but the guy just wins you over.

👍 I really think it's that pure charisma that makes Thompson so magnetic!

But enough with the back-and-forth about who's better. Drew Brooks8, of course you aren't going to feel the same way we Americans do. That's totally understandable, but please try to see where we're coming from too. Like I mentioned before, I have so much love and respect for Tony (I even traveled all the way to Krusev to pay my respects when he was five months out), but for me, Thompson is just in a league of his own. A truly unique soul.

Look, this thread is strictly about Thompson and Tony. If you’re itching to debate the crowd at his shows—or whatever other drama you want to stir up—go ahead and start a new thread for that.

🙄 And I’m sure we’ll all be sitting here weeping about it—as if that actually matters.

Jessica Howard2, that was beautifully put!👍 It’s like you read my mind. You either carry it within you—deep in your heart and soul—or you simply don't.
