So, today in Iran—which I guess some of the online leftists, certain religious groups, anarchists, and those "peace and love" types seem determined to defend—three poor souls were sentenced to death. I suppose their only crime was standing up against the religious dictatorship enforced by the clergy throughout the country. Israel to join NATO exercises in the Mediterranean

A military spokesperson announced on Tuesday that the Israeli Navy will be taking part in NATO maritime drills in the Mediterranean.

According to Maariv, this marks their first involvement in maneuvers organized under the umbrella of the "global war on terror." No specific dates for the drills have been set yet.

The report adds that NATO headquarters gave the green light last week for the Israeli Navy to join the forces patrolling the Mediterranean as part of Operation "Active Endeavour," which aims to prevent terrorism.

These forces—deployed following the 9/11 attacks in the USA—consist of about ten ships supported by submarines and aircraft. Their job is to stop attacks on vessels and prevent weapons smuggling. They monitor suspicious ships and escort NATO vessels that might be vulnerable as they pass through the Strait of Gibraltar.

It seems some people on this forum have zero political intuition.😉
