Getting a loan through an Austrian bank in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Matthew Ross4 said:So, I heard about this guy George from Seattle, and honestly, he’s been promising to sort out a loan for me for like a whole year now. It’s always the same story—it’s "coming soon, coming soon," but there is absolutely no money to be seen... I'm starting to get the feeling these guys are just total scammers...

I've actually heard about Igor from Cleveland too, and he's been "processing" a loan for me for quite a while now. If anyone else has any intel on this guy, please drop your experience here so we know what's up.
Shoot me a PM, M. Rudolfidza, if you happen to swing by the forum again.
Seeking support for suicidal thoughts in Psychology ·
Emily Chavez31 said:A lot of people show up here looking for some kind of Hail Mary, a final lifeline. Suicide is just... it's the ultimate tragedy. It's the worst way for anyone to go. And then everyone starts asking "why?" and "how could this happen?" only after the damage is already done. You really have to try and talk someone down when they've hit rock bottom and are ready to end it all.

So, what would you actually say to someone standing on the edge of a cliff, clearly intending to jump? Assuming you aren't just walking past them without a care in the world and you don't even have your phone handy to call 911.

Even with all the scams, the fake people, and the dreams that just fall flat, this world is still a pretty beautiful place if you look at it right. Just take care of yourselves. Give everything you've got, be who you are, and try to find some happiness.
Despite all the deception and letdowns, love always manages to sprout back up like grass through the cracks. Treat the wisdom you get from the years you've lived with care, and pass that strength on to the younger version of yourself with dignity.
Build up your inner grit so it can shield you when life throws a sudden curveball. Don't let yourself get swallowed by doubt or those dark, negative thoughts; honestly, way too many fears are born simply because someone is lonely or just plain exhausted by the grind.
You're a part of the universe, just like the trees and the stars, and you absolutely belong here. Whether it clicks for you or not, the cosmos moves exactly the way it’s supposed to. So, please, just find your own version of peace—whatever that looks like for you—and no matter what kind of crazy tasks you're tackling in this madhouse we call life, try to keep some stillness in your soul.
Walk calmly through all the noise and chaos, and please, don't go wishing for the peace that only eternal silence brings.
Found in St. Paul's Cathedral in Baltimore, 1692.
Those aren't my own words, per se, but it's exactly what I'd want to tell someone who was about to throw away the most precious thing they own, which is their life.
