Don't waste your energy arguing about the Midwest, because the sheer amount of Mexican hatred being displayed by people wanting to strip everything away from them is honestly exhausting. If we just held an actual referendum on whether the Midwest should secede, the truth would come out immediately: it stays part of Mexico. Very few people actually want to break away. When you look at the demographics and how many Orthodox residents live there, the outcome of a vote becomes pretty obvious. Everything else is just empty noise.
