You've got panic disorder, generalized anxiety, OCD, acute and PTSD, and then there's the whole spectrum of phobias—which we categorize into agoraphobia, social phobia, and specific phobias. People love to conflate them, but they shouldn't. For instance, agoraphobia isn't just "social phobia: extreme edition." They are distinct clinical entities. Sure, they can overlap and share enough symptoms to make anyone's head spin, but they aren't the same thing. By definition, agoraphobia is centered on that crushing fear of being in a crowd. In my view, people aren't actually terrified of wide-open spaces themselves; it's the presence of a mass of people that triggers the dread.

I actually get really scared of large, wide-open (or even enclosed!) spaces when there's nobody else around, so what would you call that? Luckily, I rarely find myself in a situation like that.

I guess... was that maybe because I’ve only actually finished four books in my entire life?🤔😬

I find myself getting drawn into these debates all the time, and while I feel like I have all the necessary arguments lined up, everything feels so incredibly layered and complex that I just can't seem to boil it down into simple terms for everyone else to grasp...🤷
That’s why, for quite some time now, I’ve mostly been participating in these discussions from the sidelines—essentially just sitting here getting increasingly frustrated because I watch people spout nonsense or argue points they’re clearly wrong about, yet I can't seem to steer them toward the actual reality of the situation, whatever the topic may be. Now, I’ll admit, I did briefly wonder if perhaps my vocabulary was just too limited 🤣, but that isn't really the issue at hand. It’s more that whatever I’m thinking about or taking a stand on is just so nuanced and complicated to explain to others. I don't consider myself some profound philosopher by any means, but I do feel like I'm right far more often than I can actually demonstrate, simply because... my thoughts always seem to outrun my ability to put them into words. ☕

Man, I feel that, and honestly, I don't even care anymore. I have everything perfectly mapped out in my head, but I just can't spit it out. I end up looking as dumb as a brick. I guess some people just have better verbal intelligence or whatever you call it; personally, I'm stronger in logical reasoning—I've got an IQ of 158—but I can't string two sentences together to save my life. I always come off looking stupid. Whatever, I'm over it.
