I'll leave it at this one final thought, then I'm stepping away from the topic.

@Nice, look, I really don't have anything against you personally, nor am I targeting you specifically. It’s not my intention to claim you're misrepresenting me; I assume you're just acting on the information provided by the mods. That said, my reaction was purely human. I took the info you were given as an attack—as an accusation—so naturally, I started defending myself.

Sure, I’m defending myself in a way that doesn't follow the official protocol for appealing a ban (which, according to you all, means no quoting old posts, just submitting a formal inquiry and waiting for a decision from the admins). But if you feel accused, you're going to defend yourself. It's a natural response when you're frustrated. Isn't that just how people work?

Please don't delete this or flag it as spam. It isn't spam. This is just an explanation.

Dear forum moderators and administration,

If you believe what rustydrifter10 is saying, my account has been targeted with serious defamation.

(Defamation involves gossip, disparagement, insults to one's character, or making statements known to be false with the intent to create a negative image of an

individual,

a business,
a product,
a group,
a country, or
a nation.

Slander consists of malicious, false, and defamatory claims.

Most legal systems impose sanctions for defamation.)

I cannot, and will not, accept these accusations. I feel like I'm being lumped in with the most problematic users this forum has ever seen—people like Curiosity (who, if I recall correctly, was even reinstated after a ban) and similar types.

To be fair, I did cause issues in a thread over at Zionist Kitchen. Here is an unbiased look at that discussion from a neutral user: . That single post should be enough; I don't need to say anything more.
I also caused trouble on PŽK after being sanctioned, but I was frustrated and reacted impulsively. I am sorry, and I apologize to anyone I insulted back then.

So, finally, I have a request for the moderators—ranging from those who described me as "barely able to deal with him" to those who gave much harsher descriptions. Please list my problematic periods on the forum, my specific posts, and my warnings.
If I am truly characterized this way, I would genuinely like to see the evidence. I believe I have a right to it. I want to see it, and the rest of the community deserves to see it too. If I really was that difficult, my God. In that case, I’ll leave the forum in shame.

That's it, everyone. That is all I want from you: a true picture of who I am. 🙂 I hope I'm not asking for too much.

rustydrifter10 said:Look, you just asked to have your perm removed a little while ago; you can't just keep asking for it over and over. You couldn't wait until May and decided to rush things, but that doesn't mean you can jump the gun again—otherwise, that whole "six-month rule" becomes totally meaningless. It really doesn't matter if you're asking for the ban removal here on the public boards or through private messages.

I don't know what you were told, but I know what I was told. I personally reached out to every moderator from those three PDFs you claim to have been most constructive in—the ones you think would have the best opinion of you. The best response I got was, "I don't know him, he posted before my time." The next best thing was, "We managed to deal with him somehow." I don't even need to tell you what the worst responses were. Not a single person told me, "Yeah, he's fine, let him back in." Not one person. And those are the very subreddits you personally believe you were being constructive on, and the moderators you specifically pointed me toward. I checked with everyone, whereas you only checked with a select few—who, frankly, you probably picked yourself.

Don't try to turn this into some personal vendetta against you; please don't call me out or accuse me without any proof or reason. I don't personally "dislike" you; I simply don't want you here because you were constantly causing trouble on Zionist Kitchen and PŽK. That being said, I actually would have been willing to lift your permanent ban if the moderators of those three subreddits had shown any desire or willingness to have you back, but I just didn't get enough positive feedback to make that happen. So, the ban stays.

I actually reached out about 15 days ago to ask if my perm could be lifted a day early, since someone had written ages ago that I could check back at the start of May. I showed up right at the end of April or the beginning of May. Does it really make that much difference?

The point is, I followed the agreement. I haven't used any clones from the moment it was stated I could request a lift at the start of May—and honestly, it feels like it's been half a year since then.

The reason I started this thread is simple: I’m asking the mods—if any of them have an issue with me—to step up and speak publicly. Just say, "He was problematic," and show the evidence. I'm still hoping the mods will come forward and explain exactly why they don't want me back.

I'm not "claiming" anything. Those are simply the forums where I posted the most, which anyone can verify by looking at my post history. That is why I am politely asking those moderators (specifically those who were active while I was posting) to point out my problematic posts.
If the best feedback you received was that they "barely managed to deal with me," that implies I was quite a handful. And if I was, there are plenty of posts and bans to prove it.

For the second or third time, I am politely requesting that the mods, if it's true they "barely managed to deal with me," explain their issues and provide the specific posts or bans in question.

I used to post more on that one thread about poultry, but I've already mentioned it: that place hasn't been a good spot for discussion for a long time. The participants just poke at each other and throw veiled insults. That thread left such a bad taste in my mouth that I wouldn't go back there if you paid me.

I'm not turning this into an attack or making accusations. I am simply persistently asking the mods to clarify exactly what problems I supposedly caused, or at least point out the specific posts where they "could barely deal with me."

Am I asking too much of these mods by requesting they just cite my problematic posts? 🤷

This whole dynamic feels like Wild West justice, where people get hung just because a higher authority "decided" they were guilty without any actual evidence. Seriously, man, I don't get it. You claim the best response I got was "we could barely deal with him"? Fine. Then where are the disciplinary records from the recreation, soccer, or LDS threads? Are there any?

All I want is a fair shake. I’ve done everything I can on my end, which means I stopped using clones. I haven't started a new forum in six months, nor have I logged in under a fake account. I made mistakes. I admitted them. I apologized. Do I deserve a second chance? I believe I do.🙂

And for everyone else deciding my fate regarding this perm: if you think I don't deserve a chance to write here again, then state your position and explain why. That's the least you can do. I'm calling on the mods to pull my problematic behavior and the warnings from the PDFs I frequented most. If those actually existed, I wouldn't have the nerve to ask for this perm to be lifted. I have more pride than you think, rustydrifter10. 😉

You know what the irony is, William Bennett53? Even if I keep playing by the rules and politely demand some accountability from the mods and admins regarding whether I actually belong on this forum, they’ll probably just label me as annoying or problematic. In short, they'll just shut the whole thing down and call me unwelcome. 😬

🤣

William Bennett53 said:Because PŽK is an actual part of this forum, not some lawless black hole where you can just wander in to scream, whine, throw accusations, and harass people while thinking there are no consequences.
The way someone conducts themselves says everything about their own character, regardless of which sub-forum they happen to be visiting.

But I don't think you quite grasped the situation; you've made your request, and now we are simply waiting to see if anyone decides to address it. 👋

Hold on, let's clear something up—you seem to think it's fair to compare two different things:
a) the reaction of a frustrated user who didn't come to PŽK by choice, and where a tiny slip-up from an unstable moderator or admin could push them even further over the edge, and
b) the behavior of a perfectly stable user engaging in a discussion they actually wanted to join.

I'll say it again: it’s honestly exhausting that, as part of the administration, you don't understand my point.

Sure, the request was posted, but I'm not holding my breath. The mods can respond, or they can not. That's that.🤷

First off, regarding the crusaders. And secondly, one can certainly evaluate an individual's body of work on PŽK.

In any case, you have submitted your request, and those it concerns have been notified. Now, let us see if anyone else has anything to contribute to the matter.

I’ll say it again: my only question is what possible reason could there be to consider me unwelcome on this forum after all this time? That's why I started this thread. There's no agenda here.

Secondly, people don't come to PZK because they want to or because they enjoy writing here. Sure, there are some "human rights activists," 😁 but the reason most users show up to PZK is pretty obvious: they feel overlooked.
A user comes to PZK feeling dissatisfied from the jump. Can you really expect nothing but constructive feedback and cooperation from someone in that headspace? 😬

It would be a real shame if the administration lumped everything together—if, when judging a user's character, they weighed their activity on PZK against their activity on the "main" PDFs. I certainly hope that isn't the case.

William Bennett53 said:Tambura, look, I get it—playing the victim and pointing fingers at everyone else for your own issues feels good, but you aren't going to turn this thread into a crusade against the admin.

For a permanent ban to even be considered, the moderators on the subforums where you’ve been active would need to actually support the idea (meaning they can't be indifferent, and they certainly can't be against it). From what I've seen so far, that isn't happening in your case. And let’s be real: this isn't the fault of rustydrifter10, some freak accident, or some cosmic injustice. It is entirely due to you and how you conduct yourself on this forum. Therefore, I suggest changing your tone and stopping this attempt to solve problems that don't exist.

Here are my two cents: as a moderator of the PZK subforum, where you caused absolute chaos, I am voting a firm no.

That’s a pretty interesting metric to use when deciding on bans.

Technically, whether someone gets unbanned comes down to a moderator's judgment—and that can be incredibly subjective. Why should it matter if a moderator just doesn't personally vibe with you, even if you're a solid user who follows the rules and engages in discussions without issue? 🤷

I respect what the mods do; they put in a lot of work. But I think giving them that much weight in the decision to lift a ban feels wrong.
Request to remove the permit: Grandpa's Tamburica in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Look, I'm not attacking New York City, where would that even come from? 😁I’m just interested in the reasoning—and the opinions of the moderator PDFs I've interacted with most—behind the decision to let Perm stay. That's all.

And honestly, how much weight should we give the PŽK? It's designed for grievances and appeals, making it inherently conflict-driven by nature. Is it really a fair way to judge someone's overall contribution to the forum?🤷

My actions (and those of any other user) on the PŽK are born out of frustration, not because they reflect our true character. Someone can be an incredibly constructive and respectful member according to the administration's standards 😁, yet that same person might let a few impulsive reactions driven by frustration take them in the wrong direction.

I honestly have no idea how I could have been "tiresome" on your PDF, except for that one stretch where I was going back and forth with Curiosity 😬. During those childish little spats, pretty much everyone involved was being exhausting 😁. If I react because I don't care for a certain type of humor—like overdoing it with the old man trope—that doesn't make me difficult; it just means I don't like it. Though, I eventually realized the old man was just messing around too, so, fine. 😁
And look, being "tiresome" is subjective. For instance, Steve is tiresome to me with his cynical, sarcastic jokes, while you or someone else might not feel that way. Nothing personal against Steve—I think he’s a high-quality user—but he can be a lot. To me, anyway. And I wouldn't say I'm the only one 😁
.
I actually put effort into my discussions; I enjoyed having quality debates on this forum, and the mods know that. Whether I was offering advice or picking up tips during the company retreat, or enjoying football chats with the engineer, or engaging in serious topics over at LDS, I always tried to contribute
.
What fascinates me about administrative decisions is that, at least in my case regarding the permanent ban, they don't seem to prioritize how constructive or helpful a user has been. Instead, the focus shifts entirely to any negative footprint left behind. Decisions are made based on that, usually resulting in the ban staying in place
. You wrote that I could be tiresome sometimes... well, if that was really the deciding factor in keeping the ban, then I honestly don't know what to say 😬
.
What interests me is the variety of responses rustydrifter10 gathered, which is why I started this thread and asked the mods to weigh in. I am genuinely curious: what were these massive behavioral lapses that led to the decision not to lift the ban? I've left eighty percent of my posts across those three PDFs, and I only have a single strike for trolling across all three combined
. rustydrifter10, I am truly interested in the reasoning behind this decision. Please explain it, both for my sake and for others facing similar situations in the future. Because there will be more

Fair point, I wasn't. 🙂 But regarding this:

so it wouldn't be right for you to judge my writing over there. I hope you won't take it the wrong way.

I'm not so sure about that.

I get what you're trying to say—really, I do—which is exactly why I held back on my response earlier.
But, look, let's be real here: today, I AM an LDS moderator, and if I'm not feeling your vibe on the PDF, then yeah, I absolutely have the right to call out your writing style because, at the end of the day, I'm the one who's going to have to quote and moderate your posts anyway.

I hope you see where I'm coming from.

yeah, I don't exactly have a stellar reputation 🙂 but it's been a while, heads have cooled down... anyway, I know I never caused trouble on the "main" PDFs,

Sometimes time heals things, and sometimes it just doesn't. 🤷
It’s up to you to prove yourself if the rest of the team thinks it's okay to have you back.

I get it. I don't have an issue with that. If we end up reading each other over at LDS, I'm sure there won't be any trouble. All I have to do is keep posting there just like I did before the permaban, which shouldn't be hard enough.😉

To be honest, I was pretty livid for 😬 a few days after the permaban. It felt like I was the only one being punished when others should have been too. So, I made a couple of clones and did some spamming, but then I just lost interest. I lost interest because I realized I was just having a childish reaction to the ban.

If the ban is lifted, I'll probably be under a microscope for a while. But I don't expect any actual issues. My head has cleared up regarding all that nonsense, and that's that.🙂

Thanks for getting back to me.

On another note, I don't think you were even an LDS moderator when I was posting over there, so it wouldn't be fair for you to judge my track record from that period. I hope you don't take this the wrong way.

I didn't reach out to every single moderator since there are so many of you. I sent an inquiry to all the Recreation mods (wearyotter81 told me they both were contacted and said I wasn't being problematic) and to all the LDS mods (only phiber replied, saying he had been contacted and confirmed I hadn't caused any issues).
As for the Football section, I just messaged the super-mod, the edge, because there are too many people in that group to ask everyone individually. I haven't heard back from him yet.

Sure, I don't exactly have a stellar reputation.🙂 However, enough time has passed that things have cooled down. Regardless, I know I’ve never caused trouble on the main PDFs, but if anyone else here—specifically the moderators of those PDFs—has a serious issue with my work, please speak up.

🙂

Hey there. I was told I could reach out at the beginning of May regarding my permanent ban, so here I am. I did use a couple of alt accounts shortly after being banned, but I gave rustydrifter10 my word that I wouldn't touch them until it was actually time to request an appeal. It’s not that I was posting under someone else; it’s just that I haven't even logged into the forum for several months.

I recently sent rustydrifter10 a private message asking if she had checked with the mods regarding the 2-3 PDFs where I was most active (LDS, football, and fitness). She said she did, and apparently, nobody was in favor of lifting the ban. However, I reached out to some of the mods via PM myself, and every single one told me they had been contacted and confirmed that I hadn't been problematic. I have the screenshots of those messages to prove it.
I honestly don't know why rustydrifter10 won't let me back on the forum, especially since she's been told I'm not a troublemaker. That's really a question for her.

That thread about women's bodies in rural towns—where I picked up a few warnings—is problematic in its own right. Women there are constantly dealing with drama; I know that was the case when I was posting, and I assume nothing has changed. One female user I used to clash with was always picking fights with others, so it likely remains the same. So much for being "only" the one causing conflict. I won't deny I caused issues and acted provocatively in that specific thread. But generally speaking, the atmosphere in that section isn't great.

I'm asking for this permanent ban to be lifted. I've learned my lesson. 😉 Or, if the administration truly believes I'm going to keep causing trouble on Zionist Kitchen, feel free to leave the ban in place for the other sections. You can even keep me off Fashion Nova, though I only have about 20 posts in that PDF. Honestly, there shouldn't be a reason to keep me out.

I'd like to call on the mods from LDS, fitness, and football to speak up here and confirm whether they ever had any issues with me. To be fair, I'll admit I have one warning over in the football section (I think it was just some trolling).

Best, dedina tambura
