People who are just plain difficult in Psychology ·

It really gets under my skin when people let prejudices drive their opinions. Like... "Sure, he's talented, I actually like his work, and we click... BUT... given his name,🤦 I just can't get behind him."
Seriously, what does a name have to do with anything? It drives me crazy.
It's honestly exhausting seeing people cling to those kinds of biases in this day and age.👋👋

Signed. 🙏
I know just the guy...🙂

I know people who haven't even heard of The Rolling Stones or U2, not to mention anyone else.
Look, we don't all have to be experts on everything, but come on, a little basic culture wouldn't kill anyone.
- energy vampires, too 😁
- being so stubborn you push away everyone close to you just because you "always have to be right"
- zero solidarity
- prejudices, ugh
- selfishness
- fake listening—pretending to care when someone vents, then acting like you have no clue what they were talking about later
- ditching friends when things get heavy or they’re struggling 😢
- constant negativity toward everything
- jealousy and envy, especially directed at your best friends
- shallow talk and being totally flighty
- people whining about nothing and looping on the same "huge" problem all day long
- having zero vision and being short-sighted
- being completely indifferent to people and their feelings, not even trying to actually know your closest buddies
- and don't even get me started on those people who fake an entire personality just to seem "different"—it's pathetic

that's just the start 😁

For me, it’s always those people packed with nothing but prejudices. Since I don't fit their tiny little boxes, they constantly harp on about how I like certain things and they don't—always throwing those little digs just to get under your skin..
After even a couple sentences with someone like that, my only instinct is to bolt.
Then you've got the ones whose conversation level is basically kindergarteners—just pure surface-level nonsense. I know plenty of them, unfortunately, and I honestly wonder if they actually can't, or if they just don't know how to talk about anything deep. If you catch my drift. It’s exactly what gets under my skin—I can't even imagine having people like that in my circle.
