Anyone else here searching for something meaningful?

People who are fundamentally decent tend to be honest, though they often come across as the bad guys because they refuse to tolerate injustice. They won't just sit there and take it, regardless of the fallout. I guess that usually ends with them being the ones who suffer, simply because they refused to bow down.
A lot of what we were taught was "good" is actually quite toxic, and vice versa.
Rebellion is probably a sign of a healthy psyche, since it’s obvious our parents were wrong about most things. The consequences are plain to see today; you don't even need to pick up the New York Times to notice.
That's why I'll never call anyone "good." They always seem to be smirking at me while carefully curating their best traits for show.
To find a real perspective, maybe one should focus on themselves—understanding higher-level needs and developing what lies within.
And another thing—there are truly wonderful people out there, and my mission is to make them happy.🙂🙂
