Dealing with jealousy in Psychology ·
steeltiger2;23439211 said:Hey everyone!
I’m posting here because I’m dealing with something a bit out of the ordinary—this toxic jealousy is eating at me, and if I don't get it under control soon, it’s going to wreck my relationship.

Look, I know exactly how you feel. I am an incredibly jealous person myself. If you only knew the kinds of scenes I used to cause back in the day, it was honestly embarrassing. It took me a long time to realize that my jealousy stemmed from one very simple issue: I wasn't happy with myself. Because of that, I viewed every single person as a threat. You have to do the work on yourself. You need to build up your self-esteem and find some actual confidence. Once you do that, you'll finally trust that your partner loves you, and you won't be constantly terrified they're going to cheat, because you'll actually know you're worth loving. 👍

Hopefully, someone who actually knows their way around American television will chime in and give me some solid recommendations..

You've got Bibin's World; I always enjoy catching that one. 🍿
