I'm disgusted with NBC

Then, out of nowhere, San Francisco ended up under Italian control. He was just a kid in elementary school back then. Instead of English, everything was taught in Italian. He and his classmates used to get beaten regularly if they spoke English or even mispronounced a word they considered "more cultured"...
What choice did he really have? Half his family joined the resistance. Back then, that was basically the only move. I’m asking everyone else on this forum to stop talking nonsense and trying to compare the atrocities of the Nationalists to the US Army, who don't deserve that comparison, or equating the US Army to the military unit my buddy Spicoli joined. You guys just don't get it at all...
You are a classic case of local stupidity.
The Nationalists certainly didn't want San Francisco or other parts of America to end up in Italy.
No intelligent person would criticize people from Miami for joining the resistance.
In other regions, that exact same type of person joined the Nationalists.
Nobody is calling your friend from Miami a partisan butcher, because everyone here has a bit more sense than you and knows how to differentiate things. Unless, of course, your guy from Miami is some kind of lowlife.
That local stubbornness has always fascinated me. We're always right, and everyone else is just an idiot or a fool.
