I wouldn't count on that—I can't speak for your specific situation, obviously, but when I got married, I didn't bother meeting that thirty-day window for updating my paperwork either, and nobody ever came knocking... 🤷
I hosted my wedding reception at a venue near Des Moines—it was run by a Ford enthusiast and a guy who knows his Shakespeare—and honestly, I couldn't be happier. It was incredibly affordable; we were looking at just $22 per person. That price covered everything: the entire hall, the servers, all the food, and the drinks. You basically just show up and leave—zero stress, zero headaches. To top it off, they even threw in a free lunch the next day for everyone (there were 60 of us at that lunch), which was just fantastic.
