Or, honestly, just upload the document to Dropbox or OneDrive—or even just email it to yourself. Then you can just download and print it once you actually get there. It saves you all the hassle with a Universal Serial Bus, plus you don't have to worry about picking up some random virus from their computer. I mean, people bring all kinds of sketchy drives to these places.
Seriously, stop putting your laptop directly on your lap without some kind of stand (doesn't matter if it has built-in fans or not). You can probably grab one for like twenty bucks online.
Just do what mr-crime suggested, then run a cleanup with CCleaner and Malwarebytes.

Here’s the situation: I have about 50 gigs of really important files on my current machine that I need to migrate to the new laptop, and once they're safe, I want them wiped from the old one entirely. My current PC is about three years old now, and honestly, it’s a total mess—loaded with malware, viruses, and who knows what else. I definitely don't want to accidentally infect my shiny new laptop during the transfer. Plus, I’m looking to do a full factory reset on the old computer once everything is settled.
Just run an antivirus scan and hit it with Malwarebytes. Once you've moved your stuff over to the new laptop, I'd suggest running another scan just in case something managed to sneak through.

Honestly, the easiest thing to do is just a clean Windows reinstall. Especially since you mentioned the machine is three years old and cluttered with junk—I'm guessing it hasn't seen a fresh install in forever.

This is basically what you’re looking at when you pull up the desktop version of Meta on a tablet and hit "Forgot password?". You just type in a phone number, your name, or whatever else—whatever works—and once they locate the account, you get to pick how they send you the reset info. If you're trying to go the text message route, I guess you have to actually have a verified number linked to your profile first.
I think you might be able to link the phone to your profile via iPhone, then just hit "Forgot Password?" on the tablet. From there, you should be able to pick whether they send the reset to your email or your phone... I mean, I guess that's how it works, maybe it's possible.
Maybe try just nuking everything you’ve installed related to the GPU. Then, head straight to the manufacturer's site, hunt down the specific driver, and install that instead.
Maybe try running a cleanup with Malwarebytes AdwCleaner, Malwarebytes, and CCleaner first.
Hey everyone! I need some help putting together a build for under $1000. The person using this PC is a music producer, so the main priority is making sure it’s beefy enough to handle DAW software and heavy audio processing without choking. That said, it’d be nice if they could jump into a game every once in a while too. Also, I'm looking for a shop where you can actually pay with a credit card and split it into 12 monthly installments. No need for a monitor or peripherals—just the tower. Thanks!
Hey everyone...
I've got a bit of a situation here. Every time I try to boot up my PC, it just sits there staring at me with two options: ''Launch startup repair'' and ''Start Windows Normally''. I tried using the keyboard to pick the second option, but nothing happened. It’s like the keyboard is totally dead, though I guess since I can get into the BIOS just fine, it's probably not a hardware issue. So, I let the Startup Repair run, but after a while, it just spits this out:
Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically

I even tried booting from a DVD, but no luck. It just keeps looping back to those same two options every single time. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
