Wage garnishments and collections in Law ·
I was wondering if anyone could give me a rough idea regarding the timeline for receiving payment once the final enforcement date has been set.

I noticed someone mentioned here that it takes about 8 days after the enforcement date is established, but I’m guessing the entire process through the Federal Reserve actually drags on for maybe a month or two?

To give some context, this involves a lawsuit for back pay and damages owed to me by the Department. A final judgment has already been issued in my favor, along with the enforcement date.

I wouldn't be asking if things weren't getting a little stressful, and I've searched the web quite a bit, but I just can't find anything specific online regarding how long this whole process typically lasts.

Any info at all would be greatly appreciated.

Pure nonsense, honestly... just a whole lot of nothing. As someone who’s worked just about every job under the sun and actually bothered to get a college degree (not that anyone can tell you much about the value of one these days), I can say with absolute certainty that I walked out of elementary school having learned virtually nothing useful. It’s just like > mentioned earlier... I already knew how to read and do basic math before I even stepped foot into first grade. Even now, looking back, there isn't a single thing from my primary or high school years that has actually served me in the real world.

The only silver lining to growing up without any real substance is that it forces you to become a self-taught individual—you have to actually seek out knowledge, truly grasp it, and figure out how to apply it yourself.

Now, I don't want to paint everyone with the same brush here... certain kids might actually find these types of activities helpful for their development... while for everyone else, they won't. In my view, the only real way to get an actual education is through private academies, hiring personal tutors, or parents stepping in to do the heavy lifting themselves.

At the end of the day, I firmly believe the American public school system—from elementary all the way through some high schools—is little more than a machine for indoctrination. It teaches passive (or rather, non-existent) thinking and serves primarily to groom children for a life of mindless obedience as standard wage earners.
