I really wish I could just let loose and be more spontaneous when I'm out with friends or just messing around...
Dana Morales64 said:Do you have any specific types of exhausting, socially oblivious people that you go out of your way to avoid? Here’s an example from today—I’m grabbing coffee with a buddy, and this incredibly annoying guy just wanders over and sits right down with us. We finish our drinks and head off in our own direction, but the second we stand up, he starts interrogating us about where we're going. I tell him I'm heading home, so he follows up with "Oh yeah? Why?" Then, "What are you doing at home?" Then, "Doing what kind of work?" 🙄 And then comes the best part—as soon as we get to our bikes, he actually starts pedaling after us 🤣 He chases us for maybe a couple hundred yards before he finally gives up because he ran out of steam. To top it all off, he tried calling my cell afterward—of course, I didn't pick up.
This is just one instance of the absolute weirdos roaming this planet. What is actually wrong with people like this? Are they even sane? How low can someone sink to act like that? I mean, look, we've known this guy for a while; he isn't quite as unhinged as my friend, but he is painfully draining because he needs to know everything about everyone. He has zero boundaries—he doesn't know how to sit still, and he clearly doesn't know how to behave in public. When we run into him, he doesn't know when to leave or when enough is enough. That's exactly why we steer clear. Is there a permanent way to deal with these special cases? And the worst part? It's not even some random teenager; we're talking about a grown man in his 20s.
God, I am dying here. 😂🤣😂🤣😂
I have one of those "friends" myself, but she’s genuinely unstable. I can't bring myself to be harsh with her; I actually feel bad. 🤷
But when it comes to the "normal" ones who act like total nuisances? I don't feel a shred of remorse about cutting them loose. ☕

But let’s be honest, you still wear your heart on your sleeve 😬
I am sincerely hoping—and I mean this with everything I have—that when I eventually have kids of my own, I’ll turn out just like my mother. I want to be able to completely wipe away every bad memory of my father and find a husband who is actually a decent man and a better father than he ever was. Because let’s face it: they say women always end up marrying someone just like their dads. God forbid that happens to me. 🙄 🤮
Look, nobody goes around bragging about their flaws; everyone’s busy trying to sweep them under the rug. You only confess those things to your closest friends—the ones who aren't going to judge you for it. But at the end of the day, people's actions always reveal who they really are... ☕
I haven't combed through every single comment here, but I can vouch for my own honesty. When I say it, I mean it. (I have this slightly neurotic habit of dodging commitment 😬 )
Those guys were perfectly fine. Honestly, some were the kind of partners any parent would dream of for their daughter. But sometimes, I just wasn't wired for a relationship. What else is there to say besides the old "it's not you, it's me" 😕? It would be much easier to lie and claim, "you're unattractive, you're repulsive, I'm just not feeling it," 🤔 🤣
but they didn't deserve that. They hadn't done anything wrong. Instead, I’d just find myself suddenly repulsed by them for absolutely no reason at all—that little psychological glitch I mentioned before. I couldn't exactly invent a fake grievance to pin on them...
There was exactly one occasion where I wasn't being sincere. That was when a guy was just incredibly, painfully boring. He wouldn't say a word, and when he finally did, it was always: "Whatever you want." 🙄 And he was such a sweetheart, too... 😢 🤣 I couldn't bring myself to tell him the truth about how dull he was. So, once again, I had to retreat to the classic "it's not you, it's me" excuse. If anyone has a better suggestion, please, do let me know!!! 😁
