From what you've posted on the forum, I have a pretty clear picture of your bachelorette party plans (by the way, I'm voting for flats 🙂), and I can already see you surrounded by pom-poms! That's a total win if it means anything to you. Good luck!!!

😉 Tenksic!!! 😍

Unfortunately, those colors aren't available anywhere in San Francisco—if anyone knows where to find them, let me know.
Exactly. The math is that one sheet makes one larger ball, or even two smaller ones (about 15 cm in diameter). I made a pink one and actually put it under the shower to see how it handled the rain, and it looked even better. It didn't deform at all. If you want it for outdoors, try to find that specific paper.
Tissue works, but if it's for indoors, just grab some napkins. You won't regret it, trust me. 🙂

😁
Awesome, thanks for the heads-up! I'll always have napkins on hand if I can't track down that tissue paper!
Thanks again! 😉
Arthur Roberts65 said:At Rose Two in San Francisco, the colors were pink, blue, yellow, and brown. If I recall correctly, $2.75 there were about 20 pages. https://www.facebook.com/ruzica.dva

Are you seriously trying to tell me that? 😁
So, I’m sitting here wondering... do I actually need white, or should I maybe go with silver? It’s one of those things that seems simple until you’re staring at the options for twenty minutes straight. Is there even a real difference, or am I just overthinking this?
So, is the math actually working out where you can just take one single sheet and turn it into a sphere, or what? 🤔
Does anyone know where I can pick up some paper to make...

If I remember correctly, Amazon makes some pretty solid sweets. Seriously, their stuff is great—especially that Ferrero cake. 🙂

rustyfox25 said:You're right about there being four of them back in the day—there definitely wasn't a singer then. It was just two guitars, some keys, and I think one of the guys handled the vocals. They've gotten really good at playing live now, though. Honestly, the sound quality at those shows is usually great, so you probably won't be disappointed regardless. But for me, those guys from San Diego were definitely the better act.😉
Good luck either way...

Well, that settles it then! Thanks for the help. 😉

I actually posted about this little dilemma over in the band discussion thread, too... so here it is again just in case...

The band swapped out their singer, and honestly, the new guy just isn't hitting the mark. It’s been a struggle trying to get on the same page with them—there's just no chemistry there. We eventually decided to pass on them entirely. Now, we're back on the hunt for a new group. We've had our eyes on Phoenix from San Francisco, Rocatansky from Zadar, and Volar from Split... though I have to say, Phoenix is definitely our top choice right now...
But at the end of the day, the only way we actually got to hear them was through YouTube...
Has anyone actually caught them live? I'm curious to know what the experience is really like... Thanks in advance.

Hey, how's it going...
I was at a wedding in Washington, D.C. this past summer, and they had this group called Rocatansky playing. They’re actually from Zadar—the bride was originally from there—and man, they were incredible. The energy in the room was just perfect. Everything was played live, and honestly, the sound quality was top-notch...
I remember catching a Volar set once at a bonfire... the guys were decent enough, I guess, but honestly? They don't even come close to these guys. It’s just the three of them playing to a backing track, unless they've changed things up recently...
Well, I hope that was actually helpful...
Hey there...

I think you might be mixing Volar up with some other group. If I recall correctly, they're a quartet plus a female singer, and they actually play everything live... 🤷

And what about Phoenix? Has anyone actually heard them live?

I already posted this little dilemma over in the band discussion thread, but I figured I'd drop it here too just in case.

So, our band just swapped out vocalists, and honestly? We aren't feeling the new guy at all—it’s been a total nightmare trying to get on the same page. There’s just zero chemistry there, so we finally decided to pass on him. Now we're back to square one, hunting for a new group. We've got our eyes on Phoenix from San Francisco, Rocatansky from Zadar, and Volar from Split... though I’m leaning heavily toward Phoenix right now.
The catch is, the only way we've heard them is via YouTube.
Has anyone actually seen any of them live? What was the vibe like??? Thanks!

I was wondering if anyone might be able to point me toward some reliable wedding photography studios in San Francisco... I’m really open to any advice or personal stories you might have, and if you happen to know anything about typical pricing structures, that would be incredibly helpful too... basically anything regarding the whole process of capturing the big day. Thank you so much!!🤷🤷🤷

Instagram was great—they shot a pier party where I was actually the maid of honor. Really solid crew, and the photos turned out awesome. 😉
Timothy Fisher50 said:I think LA PERLA is set up at the mall right now, and I believe they’re offering something like a 20% discount. There’s someone else exhibiting too, but I wasn't really paying close attention to the names since I already sorted out my wedding dress situation.🙂
Where are you all planning to get your desserts? Has anyone tried those treats from the bakery near the outskirts of town—the ones that say "Absum LLC makes homemade sweets"? Does anyone know if they're actually good? Or does anyone have recommendations for great homemade cookies or really delicious cakes??😁

P.S. I was absolutely obsessed with the brittle from that little pastry shop down by the marina, though I completely forgot to ask what the prices were like.

We actually tried those cookies from Karlovčan—they were super, super delicious—but honestly, they felt a little pricey to me. 😉

Hey ladies, what’s the verdict on Viadelov cookies? Is the price-to-quality ratio actually worth it, or am I just paying for fancy packaging?
Also—random question—does anyone know of a nonprofit or a special needs association that makes custom wedding thank-you notes? I’ve been thinking it would be pretty cool to support a good cause while getting something unique and meaningful for my guests... you know, something that isn't just some mass-produced card from a big box store.
Thanks in advance!

P.S. See you all at Lion next weekend!!! 😍

Has anyone actually dealt with the flower shop At Ana's over in San Francisco?
