I didn't work on this—it was done by some local kids from the neighborhood—but personally, it doesn't do much for me. I've never really been a fan of those old mid-century modern patterns anyway.

Looks pretty good to me.

Look, what I’m laying out here isn't some theory I picked up scrolling through random message boards—I'm getting this straight from a guy who was actually there on the ground. Firsthand info.

Next stop, Lisbon! 😍

I get something similar from my boyfriend over at Chase—his English is a bit rough, I guess, but you can still follow him:

hey! i'll tell you in english, if i don't know certain words, i might use portuguese. last night we were out in the streets fighting the Manchester City hooligan crews... we absolutely wrecked them. some people don't believe it’s even possible—they think because we're such a solid group, we wouldn't go that far—but we're brave and we fight with honor! it was a glorious night for us... probably the strongest firm we've seen in Lisbon in years. We fight for ourselves and for our bond with the Rangers, because they never forget the history we share—they're our blood brothers...

So, I’m apparently the one with the issue because police presence is everywhere whenever fans are involved—everyone suddenly wants their space—but now that we're talking about St. Petersburg, everyone's acting like there wasn't a single cop in sight?
What's the actual problem here? Maybe it's just that the Zenit fans played fair and didn't trample us—even though they could have easily wiped out dozens of our smaller groups scattered across the city over those 2-3 days. Or maybe you guys were just hoping they'd steamroll every little group using that classic North American style, just so you could head back home and whine about how we're all "cowards" for grouping up and throwing quiet provocations...

If I hadn't been there, I wouldn't be typing this nonsense. If you're actually interested, shoot me a PM—I've got some interesting photos.

What kind of "fair play" are you even talking about? They didn't target us while we were in our small groups; they went after people on the very first night when there were plenty of older folks around. You call that fair?

Well, see for yourself.

Maybe I’m just old-fashioned, but I don't see the appeal of traveling to an away game under heavy police escort. You end up being late for everything, you can't even grab a beer or hit the restroom whenever you want without permission—and then you get griefed later just because you lit a flare.🤷

p.s. A single brawl has always had the potential to change a life—today as much as ever, I suppose.☕

After that incident, we were wandering around St. Petersburg without any security at all, just messing around the city. We didn't have a single problem.

The fact that our local police were barely doing anything to protect them is a completely separate issue.

Ryan Chavez3 said:Who exactly have these NFL Ultras crossed paths with to justify talking all this trash about their own group? The suburbs aren't the inner city—there’s a difference. Someone should probably just post some zoomed-in photos of them getting caged at the stadium and call it a day. You guys are always stuck on these same tired stories. If you’re honestly so convinced that things are falling apart on the streets, maybe go hit the gym or spend some time at a wellness retreat or whatever—this is getting ridiculous. Actually, it’s already hilarious. 🙄

I mean, they’re just shooting blanks here—why didn't they hit the first group in Saint Petersburg?

I’ve got photos from back in the day—just us, no riot gear or anything like that—hanging out in a plaza with our scarves on. I mean, if we weren't even geared up, why didn't they come after us then?

It’s a total joke—honestly, you’d think we were talking about aliens or something.

If there weren't such a massive police presence in Miami—I mean, if the cops weren't swarming everywhere—those guys would have been absolutely leveled. It’s pretty obvious, really.

Casey Gomez3 said:Believe me when I say that if it were just us, you, and the NYT facing the Atlantic Front, we wouldn't make it. I really don't feel like explaining why—I think any sane person would see that immediately.

I wouldn't go that far, but hey, that's your take.

Anyway, the NYT went after the Russians. To be honest, it hurts seeing what people say about the NYT—those guys have heart and honor.

For me, that’s enough.

rowdyfox21 said:You can't expect those clowns to target Guimarães instead of Russia. If only it had anything to do with Russian sympathizers...

Word on the street is that one of the big names from the Atlantic Front ended up in the hospital—though, honestly, who knows if there's any truth to it.

It’s all just hearsay at this point, though I suppose there isn't much reason not to believe people.

And they aren't quite the total clowns you think they are, trust me.

I won't go overboard here—you probably already know the whole story regarding their stay in America. 🙂

He probably had to arrive that way—because when our first guys showed up in Russia, there wasn't a single cop in sight.

When you compare our away game out there to their home stand here—well, I guess you finally see the difference.

The Raiders broke through the Nevsky front (Zenit) ☕

Well, I guess that’s what happens when you don't guard them like they're the Pope whenever they show up somewhere.

Must be nice being a mod—meanwhile, silverbear38 and I are getting about ten posts nuked a day on average🤣

A full house is basically impossible on a weekday—not happening.

☕

Something like that.

The big derby? I guess maybe 2,000 to 3,000 people would try to make it out.

You really ought to take this up with the bigwigs over at MLS first.

As for the match against the 49ers—that’s just the leftover round they had to push back because of the winter weather.

The schedule for our next three games:

Round 21: March 10, 2012 – Saturday KANSAS CITY CHIEFS vs MIAMI at 6:00 PM

Round 22: March 17, 2012 – Saturday LOS ANGELES LAKERS vs KANSAS CITY CHIEFS at 6:00 PM

Round 18: March 21, 2012 – Wednesday SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs KANSAS CITY CHIEFS XXX factor

Serenity—those first two weren't even posted on Friday.

And that Wednesday game against the 49ers... maybe there's a way to work that one out. 🙂

Is it true that almost everyone's posts get wiped from the BBB thread? I don't think the users are at fault here—it’s more about the mods. I guess Ant is actually a pretty chill guy who just lets normal conversation happen without hitting the delete button.

Come on, man, just tell us straight—we didn't mean any harm.

We took a hit, alright? Good grief... but hey, it’s not our first rodeo. Maybe next time we'll actually know better.

Krpe wasn't there for other reasons... and honestly, there were plenty of crews present... there was even some cheering happening outside the stadium! 🤣

Cross was top-tier!

Only those who were actually there know! 😉
