I ended up using an undelete forum because it was the only way to find all those deleted folders. I haven't saved anything new to the external drive since the initial wipe, so the deleted data stays completely intact.
So, here’s the deal,
I somehow managed to wipe about 20GB of photos off my external hard drive. After a few weeks of trying, I actually succeeded in recovering all that space, but there's a massive catch: every single photo is blank. They all have the .jpg extension, but nothing works—not converting them to different formats, and not even any professional image repair tools. I’m definitely out of my element here, so I’m asking for some help from anyone who knows their way around data recovery. I really need to get these pictures back. Any advice would be huge!😲
