I’m out cold for like 12 hours straight—total side effect from the Paxil. Honestly, what would even happen if I bumped up my dose? Right now I'm sitting at 20 mg.

My granddad used to swear by this stuff for his stomach ulcers, so I’m trying to tell myself it isn't quite as catastrophic as it looks...

Honestly, I was freaking out about taking Eglonyla because of the whole blood clot thing—since I’m dealing with varicose veins and all that mess—but my head kept telling me that even people with clotting issues end up taking it 🤷. I mean, let's be real, every single medication comes with its own set of side effects... For me, it totally messed with my hormones; I ended up with milk production issues, my cycle went completely haywire, and my breasts got larger 🙄. But hey, it does a killer job at calming me down. My doctor actually mentioned that if I'm having a full-blown panic attack, I could take Eglonyla along with Normabel. Haven't tried that combo yet, though.

Honestly, I get that low-key sense of panic too🙂especially when I’ve gotta head out somewhere solo and try to talk myself down... but it just doesn't work, you know?

I honestly don't even know if it's the Paxil, but I am sleeping way too much. It’s getting ridiculous—I can barely drag myself out of bed in the morning, get my kid off to school, and then I just crash right back into sleep without even trying🙄. My psychiatrist keeps lecturing me about how I need to start waking up early, like around 7 AM, because apparently that helps boost serotonin levels🤷. Well, I’m definitely not doing that. Even if I manage to force myself awake, I just end up passing out again in the afternoon. This anxiety is absolutely killing me; I have zero motivation for anything. I was actually doing okay on the Eglonyl after those initial side effects wore off, but now I'm back to feeling like a complete shell of a person. On top of everything, my blood pressure is all over the place—sometimes it's low, sometimes it's high—so I find myself constantly checking my pulse🙂. I honestly feel like I'm never going to get back to my old self... or even get back to work (which, honestly, I'm not even looking for right now)

So I was also put on Eglonyl along with Paxil, and honestly, it felt amazing while I was actually taking it—maybe for about a month? But now that I’m just on the Paxil by itself, all that crazy nervousness is coming right back at me. Like, seriously. Does anyone know how long it actually takes for the Paxil to kick in and start doing its job? And can we talk about the weight gain? Is it true that everyone ends up packing on the pounds from this stuff?

Has anyone ever tried mixing Paxil and unknown for anxiety and depression? I’ve been on both in the mornings, though I used to take the unknown in the afternoons too. My doctor pulled the second one away from me about three weeks ago. But honestly? Even with both of them, I still feel like a total nervous wreck.

Anyone else feeling like they’re gonna throw up after mixing Paxil and Eglonyl? Seriously, my stomach is doing absolute backflips right now.

Man, it’s just exhausting. Honestly, we really felt the difference when he spent part of the day at home, and I’m kicking myself now that we didn't mix daycare with a nanny back when he was in preschool. He never actually complained about going or said it was too hard, but you could totally tell by how he acted once he walked through the door.

Honestly, it all just comes down to whatever the specific school's after-school program looks like. In our neck of the woods, they had this extended daycare thing running from 7:30 AM straight through to 5:00 PM. You basically just shelled out about $100 for the food—breakfast, lunch, snacks, that whole deal. I wasn't exactly jumping for joy about it, but hey, we didn't really have a choice. One silver lining was how flexible you could be with pick-ups; you could grab your kid whenever. My husband actually stayed home with him for three months, and during that time, he’d just swing by and pick him up right when classes ended. 🙂They did homework there, sure, but we still hauled the backpack home every single day. Personally, I don't mind that—it lets me see what they're actually learning, maybe go over something if they're struggling... But the absolute worst part? These kids are stuck sitting on those hard wooden chairs for hours on end. There's nowhere to actually relax, and when it's pouring rain outside and they can't run around? That's 😢. We used the program for 1st and 2nd grade. It might seem easier to just leave them there, but if you can swing it, hire a sitter for even part of the day. For my kid's 2nd-grade year, I hired someone to take over at 2:00 PM, but back in 1st grade, he'd be stuck there until 5:00 sometimes, and that's 😲. He'd come home absolutely wiped, starving, and totally cranky... Now that he's in 3rd grade, he walks to and from school on his own, and we have a sitter come by for about three hours just to heat up his lunch and get 🙂 ready, so 🙂 everyone is happy. Aside from me constantly hovering and checking in on him—which, let's be real, happens less and less as they grow up—that's pretty much it. 😉
