Seriously, you just don't see stuff like this anymore...
The full collection by this legendary artist: Man from Katanga Blue Bar Melodies of the Room and Hallway
Every single one of these albums is an original CD, and honestly, I’ve pretty much only played through them once. They’re in absolutely mint condition, like they just came off the shelf... I'm looking to let the whole set go at once for $100.
Bringing this old thread back to life: Does anyone happen to have a lead on someone who owns an original copy of this double edition? I’m not looking to buy it or anything, I just really need to borrow it for a single day...
Kyle Martin3 said:I believe your primary responsibility lies with your child rather than your parents. Moving away doesn't mean you're "abandoning" them; they made the choice to distance themselves. Don't let anyone guilt-trip you. Your parents should be acting in your best interest, just as any parent ought to.
My advice would be to go to your wife and child, because that is where you are needed most. Let your parents know you're available to them, but make it clear they shouldn't interfere in your marriage. Tell your wife that this discussion is closed, and don't force visits if everyone can't find common ground.
Perhaps it might be wise to speak with a professional regarding those thoughts of self-harm... or just about these struggles in general. Please don't carry this weight alone. I'll simply say this: your child needs you. Wishing you the best. 🙂

So, I was talking to some folks who deal with dysfunctional family stuff all the time, and they were saying that even moms in situations like yours often end up reconciling after a while once her son finally settles into his own way of thinking. Good luck!
Nice post, Joseph Chavez8. It’s actually pretty eye-opening to dive into that old-school playbook politicians love to use.
So, picture this scenario: you’ve got a massive rally happening at a major plaza, maybe somewhere like Independence Square in D.C., where tens of thousands of people show up to protest for veteran rights. Everyone there is acting totally respectful—no weapons being waved around, no hate speech, just a huge crowd peacefully making it clear they aren't happy with what Washington is doing.
And then, out of nowhere, a handful of young agitators suddenly show up, looking for a fight and pushing for actual aggression (and I’m definitely not talking about the peaceful protesters here). And just like that, boom. The next morning, the headlines aren't about the fact that an entire city square was filled with people calmly demanding accountability from the political elite; instead, you’re staring at a bloody headline about some clash in the streets.
To make matters even worse, these aggressive types get all the media attention without even trying. They basically get handed the spotlight on a silver platter.
