Forgiveness
in Spirituality ·
I truly believe that finding the strength to forgive is essential if we ever want to purge ourselves of all that heavy guilt, bitterness, and resentment... By choosing forgiveness, we aren't just doing something for others; we're primarily doing it for our own sake, allowing ourselves to rise above those suffocating negative emotions and finally outgrow them.
Forgiveness doesn't necessarily mean you have to forget what happened, either... because if we just let it slip our minds entirely, we might find ourselves right back in the exact same situation where we need to forgive all over again. Remembering isn't about holding onto the pain, it's more about keeping that lesson close so we don't end up repeating the same old mistakes.😉
