Problem solved! Those green lines finally stopped popping up after I did a fresh install of Windows 7.
Quick question though—is it actually possible for those green lines to show up just because there's dust buildup on the graphics card?

So, I just ran the Samsung recovery tool to reset my system
I went with the basic factory reset option,
but now that everything is back up and running, all my specialized software is gone—like those modern 3D web browsers I used to use for viewing high-end sites.

Those white lines and green "blocks" aren't looking like a virus to me; that sounds like a massive red flag for failing VRAM on your GPU. Is everything else running okay otherwise? Like, is your laptop overheating or something?

Neither of those cards is exactly a beast for modern gaming, but old-school Counter-Strike should run smooth as butter on both, hmmm.

I think you totally missed my point here...
My new laptop is practically fresh out of the box—picked it up back in January. I was crushing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on max settings with zero lag, no stuttering at all.
I even played Battlefield 3 at max resolution and it was smooth sailing.
Then, some buddy of mine talked me into playing Counter-Strike because apparently, they wanted to jump into the multiplayer action.
The problem was, he brought along this wallhack that was absolutely riddled with junk. AVG and Malwarebytes didn't catch a single thing until I finally spotted a file named vldrv. Once I nuked that, AVG finally woke up and started screaming about viruses, Trojans, and all that bad stuff.
I wiped the game entirely, but I'm pretty sure the viruses are still lurking in the system.
Ever since I touched Counter-Strike, my whole machine has been lagging like crazy. My CPU usage is spiking up to 50% for no reason, mostly thanks to csns.exe and swchost.exe (you can see them in the screenshots).
I even tried booting into Safe Mode to hunt down those infected files, but when I try to delete them, I just get hit with an "access denied" error.

I think I've got some kind of virus or something. Every time I fire up a game, after about 5 minutes the screen goes nuts—white lines everywhere, green squares popping up... basically, the whole thing just starts lagging out hard.
It's a laptop, running an Intel core i5 480m 2.67ghz with integrated graphics, 4GB of RAM, and an Nvidia 315m with 512mb.

I've already tried defragging the drive, cleaning things up, and running a scan with Malwarebytes. I'm running Windows 7.
Honestly, I’ve got a bad feeling about swchost.exe, because it’s sitting at 30% CPU usage and eating up about 40-50% of my memory.

p.s. My PC has been acting sluggish ever since I installed Counter-Strike, but I nuked it as soon as I spotted some sketchy files like vldrv.
What should I do? Can anyone help me out here?

Look, didn't you learn anything back in American schools? We used to study things like Standard American, Southern Dialect, or even New England variations... if you don't believe me, I can literally bring those textbooks over to your house right now.

I can already see the script playing out: stagnant wages, skyrocketing grocery bills, selling off every decent asset we own, and seeing our coastal islands handed over to foreign developers... total disaster.
And don't even get me started on how they're treating our language—it’s basically being pushed to the sidelines! It just goes to show how little they actually give a damn about our American identity when they're so obsessed with following those USA mandates.
