So, I went and smashed my tablet screen... total disaster. It’s basically a paperweight until I lug it down to a repair shop (out of my own pocket, naturally). Anyway, it's a W2 tablet running Windows 8.1 rt... is there any way to project the display from the tablet onto my PC? It has a mini HDMI port, but I really don't feel like dropping the cash on an adapter right now... if anyone knows a workaround, let me know.
I’ve got this Seagate Barracuda 160 GB sitting here. It was working fine until recently, but now I'm hitting a wall. When I plug it into the USB—using that split cable with the dedicated power supply—the light comes on and I can hear the platter spinning, but my computer won't recognize it at all. I'm not buying the whole "driver issue" excuse; it worked perfectly fine before, and then suddenly it just stopped. Is there any chance the interface on the drive itself is fried or something? I've got some pretty important files on there, so I'd really hate to just toss it in the trash without trying something first.
Got a question... I was dealing with constipation for a few days—about four, give or take—but things finally went back to normal after that. The problem is, yesterday this hemorrhoid popped up. Well, maybe it isn't even a standard hemorrhoid since those are usually internal; it feels more like some kind of thrombosis, though I don't know the technical term. Anyway... it hurt a little the first day, but today it only aches slightly when I sit down. It doesn't even bother me when I'm using the bathroom. So, I'm wondering if there's any way to speed up the process of getting this thing to disappear. I'd rather not deal with it, even if it doesn't hurt much right now. If anyone has advice that doesn't involve just telling me to go see a doctor, let me know. Thanks.
