Are you absolutely certain there isn't some other legal headache hanging over your head keeping your account frozen?

Look, they *did* drop the garnishment. The money isn't even being sent directly to the creditor anymore—it sits in some sort of holding account at the bank(?). The Municipal Court of Samobor has had all the necessary contracts and paperwork finalized since September 2013. I was back there again yesterday, just to deal with this nonsense, and the clerk actually had the nerve to tell me she hadn't received the return receipts! (I showed up with the actual envelope and the official decision in hand!) And then—get this—she claims the ruling isn't even final yet?!? It’s been an entire month since the decision was issued. How on earth am I supposed to "receive" a court order if I haven't signed a return receipt? I don't have any loans, no other garnishments, and I settle every single one of my obligations promptly—even if things are getting increasingly difficult lately...😢

I finally settled this debt back on September 13, 2013. Even though Finance kept trying to send the funds over to the creditor (Chase), they ended up turning my cash back to me three separate times—eventually, they just shut down my temporary account entirely, leaving Finance with nowhere to send the money. I actually managed to notify the court about this just two days after the payoff—which was honestly a complete fluke, as I had to dig through a literal mountain of paperwork in some clerk's office in Boulder just to find my own file! After that, I received the official court order confirming the debt was paid (some senior judge told me there’s an 8+1 day window for it to become legally binding, which is fine). That deadline passed ages ago. Now, Finance keeps insisting that my money is just sitting there in some sort of holding account. It’s been four months now, and frankly, I have absolutely no clue what my next move should be...

Question,
I entered into a debt repayment agreement with my bank and stuck to it religiously—settled everything back on September 13, 2013. Now, the bank isn't even touching my funds; instead, they’re just letting the Treasury hold them in some sort of temporary holding account(?). It's now 2014, and my account is still frozen. I have been to the District Court twenty times, I've dealt with the Treasury fifty times, and there is a court order that was issued last December, yet I can't get a straight answer from anyone as to when it actually becomes final. A senior judicial advisor tells me it's 8 plus 1 days (which passed ages ago), while the Treasury claims 30 plus 1 days—they aren't even sure themselves! Meanwhile, my account has been blocked for absolutely no reason for over four months now. And then they wonder why I'm losing my mind... it's pure madness..!
Is there any actual solution to this mess?

Hey everyone!
I’ve got a question for the group. I just received a settlement offer from JPMorgan Chase—and honestly, I jumped on it immediately because they were only asking for 30% of the remaining balance. It was a no-brainer. They even cleared my name from the credit blacklist the very same day, which was a huge relief. Now, I'm just wondering if there's any lingering fine print or hidden fees I should be looking out for? I went ahead and paid off the entire amount (the full debt minus that 30% chunk) in one single lump sum. Is there anything else I need to worry about?
