I am afraid I lack any specialized knowledge on this matter. My thoughts were merely directed toward a protected account—essentially, secured funds 😬.
It is akin to hiding cash under a mattress or inside a sock.
Thank you.
I have a question; would anyone be willing to assist me?
A year ago, I faced a legal garnishment that resulted in my entire family pension being seized, regardless of the protected account status. Is there truly no protection for our essential funds?
The garnishment order was processed, yet my income continues to be split—two-thirds arriving in that specific account and one-third deposited into my checking account. Is this how the distribution is intended to function?
I find myself wondering: am I permitted to maintain my savings within that protected account? Furthermore, should another garnishment occur, would those funds remain shielded from such actions?
Thank you.
