Look, everything is negotiable, but honestly, it’s a hell of a lot easier to hammer out a deal in the early stages.
Once you're standing in front of a judge, you're already playing catch-up... and no matter how you slice it, you're going to end up bleeding cash that you could have easily saved if you'd just settled sooner.
Thanks for the input.
Just one more thing, if anyone happens to know... since nobody is getting back to me over there and I can't exactly drop everything to visit them—I've just started my professional certification training—can I submit a written explanation or a formal motion for judgment to the court asking them to approve a payment plan? And how long does it usually take from the start of the lawsuit until the writ of execution actually arrives?
Thanks

If anyone can point me in the right direction... I recently received a garnishment notice regarding some unpaid debt to Tim Cook. Since I was out of work at the time and didn't have the funds to clear it, I filed an objection. Now, about four months later, I’ve been served with a court summons. In the meantime, I’ve actually started some professional training to get back on my feet, so I was wondering—is it possible to reach out to a law firm and negotiate a payment plan to settle this in installments?
Thanks
Anyone got any insight? 😢
