I’ve been through the ringer with medical testing lately—everything from EEGs and CT scans to MRIs, plus ultrasounds for my heart and the rest of my upper body. I even had to travel over to a specialized clinic in Chicago just to get them to investigate why my blood pressure keeps dropping so frequently... and honestly, there was quite a bit more, including checking my calcium, magnesium, and other levels. Out of everything they ran, the only thing that came back slightly off was my iron being a little below the standard range; beyond that, they just told me my circulation is running a bit slow. That was it.

Good afternoon.
First off, I want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year for 2015.
So, here’s how it all went down. It was August 2nd, 2014, around 1:00 PM. I was sitting at the mixing console, handling the music for some sports games. It wasn't particularly sunny outside—actually, it was starting to rain, so I was tucked away under an umbrella. I was feeling pretty thirsty, so I headed out to grab a Coke from a fountain machine; I probably only had two or three sips, but that's about it. I felt this wave of weakness wash over me, though I didn't think much of it until my lower lip started tingling. I decided to go for a quick walk, and a friend of mine was with me. Honestly, the weakness was so intense I genuinely thought I was going to collapse—he had to step in, help me over to the car so I could lie down, and brought me a bottle of water to sip on. Before long, that tingling sensation spread from my lip to my entire face and down my arms. Some guy—I don't even know his name—offered to drive me to the hospital, and during the drive, my whole body just went numb; it was a terrifying feeling. About ten minutes into the ride, my arms locked up, my eyes clamped shut, and my mouth tightened so much that I couldn't speak. He ended up calling 911 to meet us on the way because I reached a point where I couldn't see or talk at all. The paramedics intercepted us, and they had to transfer me from the car into the ambulance while I was stuck in that position, completely rigid. Once they got me loaded into the ambulance, I started losing consciousness, and the next thing I knew, I was waking up in the hospital hooked up to an IV. Once I stabilized, they sent me home. The doctors didn't have any answers, and since then, I've been caught in this endless loop of hospital visits and tests, but nothing has ever turned up a cause. I've never experienced anything like this before, and it hasn't happened again, but it was haunting. Please, if anyone here has gone through something similar—or if you know someone who has—could you please reach out? I'm at my wit's end; I just want to understand what happened to me so I can know what to avoid, because what I went through was truly frightening.
Thanks, and best regards to you all.
