Henry Edwards33, just shoot an email over to the IRS and ask them directly; they’ll likely have the answer. When I reached out, they got back to me the very same day with a thorough, well-explained response.
In my experience, they much prefer a paper trail via email rather than being cornered on a phone call.
Be specific about the type of business involved, and they should be able to pinpoint exactly where the error lies.

It’s the exact same story I heard from the IRS. I was still running an outdated version of Microsoft Authenticator.
And then, right there at the bottom, you get this glaring red warning stating that the signing certificate hasn't been configured.
Does anyone know how to fix an error during signing that says "no active reader found"? I'm using a USB stick for both my federal taxes and my business filings.

Just make sure you have these requirements met:
Internet Explorer 7 (or anything newer),
Acrobat Reader 6.0.2 CE (or higher),
JAVA 1.5.0_02 (or 1.6.0_22 or later)

What’s the file format? That’s the deciding factor. The IRS portal won't accept anything that doesn't match their specific requirements.
Essentially, you have to input the data directly through their website, save it in their proprietary format, and only then can you submit it.
