IRS and Tax Filing Issues
in Business, Accounting & Taxes ·
Hey everyone,
I honestly think we all need to start breathing down the necks of the IRS and the Department of the Treasury until they fix this mess. They need to overhaul how the JOPPD forms actually load and submit. I mean, everything else still runs fine on Windows XP, right? Maybe if an election rolls around soon, the Secretary will finally decide to do something that actually helps taxpayers for once. 🙂
For those of you still trying to find a workaround, just a heads-up: it’s a lost cause. Even forcing an older version of Chrome onto the system—versions 39, 40, 41, I've tried them all—doesn't work because they don't support NPAPI or Java anymore. Everything works perfectly except for submitting the JOPPD. Same deal with Internet Explorer 8. At this point, I'm almost wondering if I should try running some kind of Linux emulation on Windows XP just to see if that does the trick...
