Windows white screen on my laptop
in IT Support ·
My laptop has been running constantly for the past few days, plugged directly into the wall without the battery installed. Since I needed to get some work done away from my desk, I finally shut it down and popped the battery back in.
That's where things started going sideways. As soon as I tried to power it back up, it immediately jumped into an update. Of course, once it hit 100%, the system restarted and now I'm just staring at a white screen. I was wondering if there might be a way to roll back the system to how it was just a few hours ago? I'm running Windows 8. The only thing I can manage to do is boot it up and access the Task Manager...
Thank you so much for any help!
