How to sign up for Medicare in Business, Accounting & Taxes ·
Brenda Chase3 said:You don't need to worry about Social Security since they don't require an address at the time of registration. However, you definitely should update Medicare. If you're using the online portal, you can actually handle that change right there—there's a specific section dedicated to updates.

The employee changed their home address. Do I need to file an eM-3P form through Social Security, and should I also update their info with Medicare & Medicaid Services?

The certificates seem fine from what I can tell. I'm using a USB token with a Thales smart card.
Reinstalling the IRS software package didn't do a thing. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Unplug the USB and download the latest driver support for the Gemalto stick. Restart the computer, plug the stick back in, and then try logging into the IRS site. I didn't actually uninstall the old ID Prime CLIENT—kept it around just in case for the drivers.
That fixed it for me.

Is there any way to actually pull an employee's W-2 card through here?
Every time I plug in the SSN, I just get this error saying "Taxpayer has no record or account is closed."
My permissions are set to "All Electronic Services," so that shouldn't be the issue...

Does anyone know how to grab an employee's tax info via the app without hitting a dead end?
