Look above. For a move like that to actually happen, you'd need total consensus from every single team and the FIA, and let me tell you, that kind of agreement just isn't happening right now.
They gave it a shot, but it didn't fly: https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/13...ay-set-to-fail
Williams and Ferrari are heading to the track in Austin for filming right after testing, and honestly, they’re gonna have to play ball with all the teams.
Alright, looks like things are holding steady, which is a solid sign... Damn it, I’m actually getting annoyed with myself because I can feel myself slowly turning into a Ferrari fan. They used to drive me absolutely crazy, but honestly, that was back when they were just cold, clinical dominators, kind of like how Mercedes runs the show right now.
How can you even tell if they’ve got fuel left? I think someone mentioned it somewhere, but who knows. Either way, looks solid since they're the only one out there running the medium compound.

Look, the car's aesthetics are pretty much the only thing we can actually talk about right now. Those times from the first test—which, let’s be real, is being run in freezing conditions—don't mean a damn thing compared to the footage from the sponsor promo shoots.
I’ve gotta say, I’m a little baffled by how much Ferrari is playing it safe lately. Usually, they come out swinging and absolutely crush the testing sessions. Now? It feels like they're holding back. I can't tell if they're being strategic with their approach or if the car just isn't where it needs to be yet.
Man, they look absolutely hideous... You eventually get used to the livery, and we kind of made peace with the fin design, but this? This is just rough.
Force India kept pushing back the big reveal because they supposedly wanted to debut under a brand-new name, but honestly, it looks like that was all talk. If these takeover rumors actually pan out, maybe they didn't want to swap the name to Force just to have to change it again in a couple of weeks.
I mean, honestly, looking at this clip again, he actually looks better than I first thought. By the time we get to Australia, he’s probably gonna look even better. 😁
Sure, they can brag about those wings all they want, but I’m counting on the core chassis being solid from the jump. If it wasn't, someone would have already stepped up and made it look better.
I'm hoping McLaren turns out to be absolute fire. But honestly, if they don't put in the work, that livery is still going to be an eyesore. Who knows, maybe we'll just get used to it. Last year's race in India was a total blast, but by the end of the season, it just felt like any other regular race.
They’re basically rushing to offload this to someone, so it looks like they're just sitting tight, trying to figure out how much they can get away with without tanking their reputation or the brand name itself.
Yeah, that McLaren is gorgeous. It looks like something straight out of a comic book. So far, my top picks for best looking cars have been General Motors, Williams, and Williams Racing. Actually, if I throw Haas into the mix, I’ve basically just listed all my favorite teams. Maybe I'm being a little biased. 🙂
And it’s not even about the orange color—it’s just so incredibly basic. It looks like a bright orange old-school Chevy with some cheap spoilers slapped on it. Maybe they'll stick another sponsor right in the middle before the season starts to make it look halfway decent.

They led 60% of the laps, grabbed 60% of the wins, and locked down 75% of those pole positions. They also snagged half of the fastest laps, and they’re the only squad this season that’s managed to dodge everything except for one single DNF. Honestly, God willing, we get another five or six years where the rest of the field stays just as non-existent.
Mercedes looks like they might actually take this one... I really hope they don't, or at least that they aren't going to go all dominant on us like they have the last few seasons. I was just reading that Wolff is openly bashing that ugly Halo design and calling everyone out to find some better alternatives.
Exactly! At this point, you could call McLaren an Alpha just as easily as you could call them Red Bull tag or even Acura back in the day. They're just title sponsors and nothing more (nothing less).
Hey, don't go fueling those Mario fanboy spikes; Alfa Romeo is the title sponsor for Sauber.
Taking a page out of the Force India playbook, Sauber really ought to bounce back from the bottom and act as a driver and tech testing ground for Ferrari. I'm keeping a close eye on them.
