Do mental health patients have a right to know their diagnosis?

Honestly, who’s the crazy one here? Doesn't a patient have the basic right to know their own medical reality?
What would you guys do if you were stuck in that position? Say you're a nurse or a doctor and you're legally or ethically obligated to break that news to someone with a mental illness?
I believe that through rigorous education, ongoing training, and clinical experience, medical professionals should be equipped to handle such dilemmas, though I certainly wouldn't wish such a burden on anyone.🙂
