Hi there. So, I tried to get a semen analysis done today—my doctor sent me to get it following my last round of tests. Usually, you can tell which part of the ejaculation will yield the sample, and I managed to collect something, but it wasn't enough, and the results were honestly pretty devastating. I have this feeling they might look better if the volume were higher. It really hits hard when I look at my wife and see how much she loves me and supports me, yet I feel like I'm failing to give her what every young woman dreams of. Of course, that’s my only real priority right now. I'm just not sure what to do to increase the volume... I've been taking Fertil Plus for about a week now, but that's more for motility than for boosting volume. Does anyone happen to know anything about this?

First, I’d suggest focusing on a healthier lifestyle—taking something like a fertility supplement with Vitamin B complex, omega-3s, zinc, and so on. Maybe some strength training at the gym too... and honestly, you might need to hold off on sex or masturbation for a little while.
If your goal is actually having a baby, though, getting a semen analysis done is pretty essential just to see where things stand.
Once that's settled, maybe down the road you could look into testosterone replacement therapy—but only if you aren't planning on having more kids, since those low levels likely interfere with your day-to-day life quite a bit.
Hi there. How am I supposed to get a semen analysis done if I can't produce an ejaculate? What's the process for that? Thanks.
Guys, thanks for sharing your experiences, but I feel like we might be drifting a bit away from the main point here. Has anyone else managed to successfully jumpstart sperm production and maturation through therapy or various supplements—eventually leading to having a child?

First off, focus on a healthier lifestyle—maybe try a Fertile Plus supplement with Vitamin B complex, omega-3s, zinc, and things like that. I'd suggest hitting the weights at the gym and, honestly, probably cutting out sex and masturbation for a little while.
If you're actually looking to conceive, it’s pretty vital to get a semen analysis done just to see where you stand.
After all that, you could look into testosterone replacement therapy down the road—but maybe only once you've ruled out having more kids, since those levels are quite low and likely interfering with everyday life.
Hey, is this coming from a professional standpoint or just personal experience? It would be really helpful if anyone could share some firsthand experience, if they have any... Thanks.
restlessdriver said:It looks like primary hypogonadism—since the LH and FSH levels are maxed out while testosterone remains low.
How's the cholesterol looking? Any other lab results to report? I was also wondering if there's been any damage to the testicles—did you run into any issues there?
I’d suggest finding a really solid endocrinologist—especially if you're looking into fertility treatments. It might be worth taking the extra time to find the right specialist.
Hello. I was born with bilateral cryptorchidism and perineal hypospadias. I ended up undergoing nine surgeries here in the States and three more in Mexico. It’s pretty clear that things are damaged at this point, but my wife and I decided to consult with Professor Dumić—who is definitely the top endocrinologist around. I haven't really kept an eye on my cholesterol levels... I guess you have to wonder if there's any hope of balancing things out through hormone therapy so the testes might start producing sperm normally?
LH (1) 30.6 H IU/L 1.7 to 8.6 FSH (1) 70.2 H IU/L 1.5 to 12.4 Total Testosterone (1) 11.2 nmol/L 8.6 to 29 Adults: 25 to 325 S Inhibin B (9) 24 pg/mL
So, these are the latest results—and they look pretty bad, I guess. Has anyone else dealt with something similar, or maybe tried hormone replacement therapies?
placidviper12 said:By now, you really should have been more proactive regarding MPO procedures—especially if dealing with azoospermia or elevated FSH levels—since this method actually works quite well for retrieving sperm. I was reading through some Mayo Clinic research regarding hernia complications—it’s quite a lot to digest, I suppose—and it seems there are several ways things can go sideways during recovery. It makes you realize how much the small details matter, maybe even more than we think.
Hi placidviper12. Thanks for reaching out. I recently went through a TESE procedure—it was an incredibly rough recovery, to be honest—but unfortunately, it didn't yield any results. They told me there were essentially no sperm production sites to find, so they had nothing to retrieve, though I still held onto a sliver of hope. Before that, we tried IVF with Dr. Lucinger, who looked at the initial tests and immediately suggested we look into using a donor, which is just a devastating thought for us. Right now, we’re working through some diagnostics with Professor Miroslav Dumić, who is arguably the top endocrinologist in the country—he's really our last shot at this. If this doesn't work, I don't know how I'll face the reality of being unable to help my wife conceive because of my infertility. I’m still holding onto faith, though... maybe hormonal therapies could change things. I guess I'm just wondering if anyone else here has dealt with something similar. Thanks.

Everything seems fine except for my FSH levels; apparently, a normal range is up to 12, but mine hit 60. My specialist was pretty blunt, saying there's basically no chance with things like micro-TESE or hormonal stimulation helping sperm production at this stage. However, my wife stumbled upon a family post from a woman who mentioned her husband had the exact same FSH level of 60, and after a biopsy, they found one single swimmer—yet now they're just waiting on their little boy. God, I would give anything if we were that lucky. Has anyone here dealt with something similar? I’d really appreciate some serious responses. Thanks in advance.
Hey everyone, is there anyone else out there facing this same situation, or unfortunately, the exact same thing? Thanks.
Checking in after quite a long time away. We finally started our fertility treatments, and I just got my hormone results back. Everything looks fine except for the FSH—the normal range goes up to 12, but mine is sitting at 60. My specialist was pretty blunt, telling me straight up that there’s no point in trying egg retrieval, biopsies, or hormone stimulation to jumpstart sperm production. However, my wife came across a family post from a woman who mentioned her husband had that exact same FSH level of 60; apparently, they managed to find one swimmer through retrieval and are now expecting a baby. Honestly, I would give anything if we could get even a little bit of that luck. Has anyone here dealt with something similar? I’d really appreciate some serious responses. Thanks in advance.
Let me jump straight into the heart of the matter. I am 30 years old and married. The issue is that I am completely sterile—essentially, my testes don't produce any ejaculate or sperm at all. Has anyone here dealt with a similar situation? I was born with a genital anomaly, which led to thirteen different surgeries, so everything is interconnected—but I suppose I have to wonder, is there any possibility for sperm or ejaculate to eventually appear? Perhaps through hormone therapy or something else?
Hey everyone. Just wanted to give you all a quick update regarding the fix... I'm planning to install a new sound card in my PC today—it’s likely where the issue lies.. If that doesn't do the trick, I guess I might have to send the home theater system in for repairs.. Anyway, thanks for everything. I'll let you know which sound card I ended up going with..
Sound Card - Creative Labs Audigy SE, 7.1 Surround, Bulk
-So, you're saying it's any good? I suppose I should wonder if I'll need to pick up extra gear for it—maybe an external amp or something... Since my motherboard is about 8 years old now, I'm a bit skeptical. :/
Lawrence Barnes64 said:the way I see it, you should probably just grab these: Operating System Windows Vista x86/ Vista x64/ 7 x86/ 7 x64/ 8 x64/ 8 x86/ 8.1 x86/ 8.1 x64 6.0.1.7164 2014-05-19 198.93 MB
I went ahead and downloaded those drivers too, but nothing seems to work... I'm honestly not sure what else there is to try..

Hey Bob Dylan! So, my motherboard lists this: MCP6P M2+ver. 6.0 ..I looked it up online and headed to the drivers page. I downloaded the Intel driver they list in the specs, but it’s the same old nonsense.
Windows 7 Build 267 - that was also offered, so I grabbed that too... Same exact issue. Could you just take a quick look to see if I actually got the right one, or if I've messed up the download again??
Joshua Garcia3 said:Check the case manual or just look directly at the Motherboard itself; the manufacturer and specific model should be printed right there on the board. Once you have that, head over to the manufacturer's website, search for that exact model, and download the drivers that match whatever version of Windows you're running.
Joshua Garcia3, thanks for the tip. I'll dive into this battle as soon as I get home from work today.
Noah Perez44 said:Alright, so maybe it isn't technically 5.1, but why then won't I hear anything from the other speakers when I hit the stereo button on the remote? It always worked before, and now it's just being difficult...
Apparently, you need to install whatever the last working audio drivers were... But how am I even supposed to know which ones those actually were, considering I've already cycled through about 16 different driver versions...?
I guess I'm making things way more complicated than they need to be.😛
Noah Perez44 said:Lawrence Barnes64, when I'm testing my speakers, I'm only getting sound from the front left—the others aren't working at all... Honestly, up until now, they’ve just been playing everything in 5.1 through all the stereo speakers—no matter what I actually played, I guess. YouTube, Winamp, Max TV, Filmbox—everything was working perfectly fine with my 5.1 stereo setup.
