Thanks for the reply—I was honestly about to pass out from the stress 🙂
I was under the impression that worker registration had to be completed within 24 hours of hiring. Since when did the rule change to requiring it before they even start their first shift?

Just a heads-up though—under the rules, you have to register someone for employment no earlier than eight days before coverage starts, and at the absolute latest, right before they clock in. That means if someone's first shift is Saturday at 8:00 AM, the registration needs to be finalized by 7:59 AM.
Yes—it was the day before yesterday.
I urgently need some advice here!!
I started my new job as a school secretary just two weeks ago—and I had absolutely no clue that I needed to report someone finishing up professional training without officially starting an employment contract!!
Friday was their last day; will there be any issues if I file the paperwork this coming Monday? 🙂
EDIT: Based on this, does it mean Monday counts as the 24-hour deadline—since the Social Security Administration isn't even open on Saturday or Sunday?
"The Social Security Act sets specific deadlines for submitting filings to Social Security. Since that Act doesn't explicitly define how to calculate those periods, we follow the Administrative Procedure Act. According to the Administrative Procedure Act, if a deadline falls on a Sunday, a holiday, or any other day when the Social Security Administration (hereafter: the Agency) is closed, the deadline extends to the next business day. Therefore, if an employer hires someone on a Saturday (or Sunday, or a holiday), they remain within the legal filing window as long as they submit it by the end of the next available business day, per Article 81 of the Administrative Procedure Act. The deadline for a Social Security filing expires at midnight on the Agency's next business day. For example, if coverage begins on January 2nd, 2014, the filing deadline would be January 3rd, 2014, at midnight."
I’m certain there’s a crew here that trains at—or has at least spent some time at—the Colosseum, so could anyone tell me if they take amateur recreational athletes?
What does the membership fee look like?
And what are the general vibes regarding their facilities and rules?
Any intel on this club would be much appreciated—I’ve scoured everything on Google and, honestly, it looks like a top-tier spot 👍
