My top 5 bands
1. Buzzcocks (which I actually designed myself—it took me about two hours to get the template right and another hour to finish coloring it)

I had no idea!!!! I wanted her. The one with the silver lightning bolt! I was actually ready to sell a kidney all over again.

1. That pink one you'll spot this Friday at the local dive bar 😍

Honorable mention: Why stakla.

A pink one for against me is just wrong! (If I catch you wearing it, I'm cutting you out of the group.)

Get lost, you absolute food amateur, hollowseal33!!! Why on earth are you posting pictures of food here? (Even if it does look delicious)

Well, just go out and buy one—it’s not like you smuggled it in from Costa Rica by hiding it under your tongue, right?
It’s immediately obvious he isn't one of us—total Latino lover vibes.

And yeah, I’m with Nicholas King62 on this one; those Turks really went downhill starting with their last album.

Is that a bad African or German cockroach I'm looking at? It looks massive to me. Or do you just have sausages for fingers?

So, things just continued in that review-style tone... quite a shame, really, given those limitations... actually, my only true regret is regarding Hellsonic; not a single track was recognizable because the volume was so incredibly low... I can just picture him later, lugging his mixer and those CDs home through the empty city streets... thinking to himself... ugh, honestly, I'd rather not know what he's thinking.
🙂

Wait, didn't they fix his mixer?
Later on, Hellsonic was asking if it might be better to set up the listening session on Sunday afternoons instead.

(And NBT opening for The Hives??? Look, Die Allright is one of my absolute favorites, and The Hives aren't bad either, but NBT opening for The Hives is a stretch.😕)

Kevin Chavez3 said:It was dead quiet in Los Angeles; play me something romantic. I can't stand this whole postmodern headphone concept where you can't hear a single thing.

I concur.

This music forum is turning into a music-and-foodie hybrid
I’m proposing that alongside any album release, we also list a dish that pairs perfectly with that specific sound.
For example, New Bomb Turks - Veronica Lake -> chili chocolate

Both of them look far too good
and honestly, I can't decide if I prefer the crispy top layer or the fatty bottom part when it comes to a Musaka🙂

BUT THEN CAME MY REVELATION, AND I FINALLY GRASPED THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH HIDDEN WITHIN THOSE THICK TEXTURES AND MASSIVE CHUNKS OF REAL FRUIT!

NOW, FULLY CONVERTED AND DEVOUT, I KNOW THE TRUTH:

IN THIS WORLD OF DECAYING MORAL STANDARDS, FRUIT YOGURT IS LITERALLY THE LAST REMAINING VIRTUE WE HAVE LEFT!

😲 Perhaps it would be more prudent if I simply retired for the evening.

Oh, how I agree.
My craving for one (maybe with a bit of granola) this morning is absolutely overwhelming. 🙂 🙂

Kevin Chavez3 said:It was an absolute disaster, plain and simple. Honestly, I hate the genre these legends have drifted into. Give me some raw, aggressive evil and fascism like Lajbek any day over this sentimental romanticism. Besides, when did the Swiss ever produce a decent band, other than Celtic Frost? Never. They just don't know how to compose music. We need more warfare! My only source of entertainment during the concert was watching Bad Seed lift her camera every single time a new stage light flickered on—as if she wouldn't take ten virtually identical shots, nine of which show nothing but artificial fog, and one where you can barely make out the singer's nose and a random hand through the haze. By the end, exhausted by a migraine and the sheer lack of musical taste, I had to flee home immediately after the set. That meant leaving my colleague Mainscream waiting while he waited for his heavy metal ride to return from seeing Steve Vai (assuming our friend FERovac didn't stay behind?). Disappointing. Truly disappointing.

Quiet and peaceful because she stayed home to watch Dr. Dolittle:

Some people actually claim that Muuki is basically just chocolate milk. It's absolute Rolls-Royce

Besides, you ate Muuki with a spoon, and it had coconut in it—whatever.

hollowseal33 said:Of course it’s better, but I don’t really have a point of reference here. Honestly, even the store-bought stuff works fine for me.🙂

The absolute best pancake toppings:

1. Apricot preserves topped with powdered sugar.
2. White chocolate spread (low sugar version).
3. Chocolate syrup with whipped cream on top.

And what about maple syrup?

gentlepuma20 said:Chocolate milk is fine, I guess, but Nesquik was absolute nectar from the gods... they don't make it like that anymore.🙂

Nesquik was basically divine nectar for the gods.🙏

hollowseal33 said:We really ought to track down some walnut bitters. I should check if they carry anything like that at a local specialty shop out in California.🤔

My grandmother makes an incredible batch, and I believe she has some fig liqueur as well. I fully intend to raid her pantry the next time I head back home.😁

hollowseal33 said:Right, but I'm talking about the heavy syrup, not the brandy itself 😁 ... that stuff is incredible, almost like drinking chocolate milk 😍, though I suppose you'd need to drink a gallon just to feel a buzz, but the flavor is there.

Fine, my mistake. From now on, I’ll just stick to straight bourbon... is that what you were getting at? 😁

Yes, exactly—thick, dark, like a grizzly bear's coat.😁

So, a little brandy is fine😁

just so I can sober up a bit
as for non-alcoholic options, there isn't really a specific order
- coffee - black
- cocoa
- Tropicana apple, grape, and pomegranate juice
- various teas
- strawberry juice (that's my only option while I'm dealing with this flu)
- Lipton green tea
