What are we even fighting for?

It’s honestly wild how Dostoevsky has become a total nobody. If that's the case, why is anyone even bothering to read him?
Well, probably the same kind of lazy people.
Everything just boils down to interpretation in the end. I mean, look at your comment—you’re treating the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki like they were some fascinating, useful, and deeply insightful technical case study.
And yeah, besides the social environment dictating your perspective, that viewpoint shifts as you get older too.
Does anyone actually take a depressed ninety-year-old grandmother to a psychiatrist just to "fix" her?
I highly doubt it.
Oh, and I'm sure psychiatrists know everything there is to know about life. Definitely ten times more than Dostoevsky ever did. They are definitely going down in history. Sure, assuming the world as we know it even survives this long.
My apologies to those who dare to question the meaning of existence. How could they possibly have the audacity!? 😉
