What are we even fighting for?

"I guess most people end up giving up because they just can't stomach the emptiness and the lack of meaning anymore. For me, it’s honestly unbearable.
I wake up in the morning knowing there isn't anything beautiful waiting for me. It's always like that.
It just doesn't make sense. How do you deal with it?"
It's not really my question, but I'd love to weigh in.😁
I think maybe you haven't realized your own worth because you aren't looking at the big picture. Meaning comes from the whole, not just the individual. It's kind of ironic how selfish and self-centered everyone seems to be these days trying to find happiness, when being so focused on yourself is clearly why everyone is so miserable.
Meaning comes from touching other people's lives. When your existence intersects with someone else's and leaves a mark—that's when your life has purpose.
In the same way, you give meaning to someone else just by existing, so you have to be here.
I know full well the world would keep spinning if I hadn't been born, but sometimes I catch a glimpse of people smiling around me, and in those moments, I know I'm exactly where I need to be. No one else could have been in that exact spot at that exact second. Maybe if you added up everyone else's lives, they might get the same amount of smiles without me, but *that* specific smile at *that* specific moment would never happen.
Also, there will always be people who leave negative footprints, people who drag us down. There will always be bad days, but that isn't an excuse to write off your entire life or humanity as difficult and pointless. In times like that, it’s probably best to just call a close friend, talk about total nonsense, and distract yourself from those heavy thoughts. Tomorrow is a new day—a day full of chances to do something that gives it meaning instead of dwelling on the void. Make someone laugh, help an old lady carry her groceries, do something that serves no purpose for yourself.
If you don't know what to do to make your own life better, then just do something that makes someone else's life better. And most importantly—don't expect a reward. Don't expect anything at all. Just do it because you're here and you can. Do it because none of us have perfect lives and a little help always goes a long way. Do it because a smile, a warm hand, or a kind word might help someone else sleep better at night, and if that happens, your existence definitely has meaning.
Maybe this sounds like it was written by some unfixable hippie, but hey—this is what has always pulled me through.
peace, love and unity 😉 😁
